A/N: I am sorry about the super long wait. But I have been having the worst writers block. But here you go. Enjoy.

Declan's P.O.V.

Daisy. Daisy Layla Moon. My daughter. I never thought that someone could mean this much to mean. I mean not after Cheyenne. My heart is still somewhat broken, but Daisy is making it easier for me. She's so innocent. So beautiful. So... perfect.
"AHHHHHHHHH" I groan. I have a pounding headache. Daisy is only 3 days old, she came home yesterday. She is a great sleeper. So I have no idea why I have this headache. I text Brian to come over immediately. I am in so much pain. It feels like someone is picking at my brain.
"DECLAN?!!?" Brian's voice booms through the house.
"IN MY ROOM!" I say, the pain getting worse. I grab my head and curl up in a fetal position. I hear a baby's cry. Dammit. I see Brian charge into my room, that's the last thing I saw before I blacked out.

"BEEP..... BEEP.......BEEEEEEP.....BEEEEEEEEP....." A mechanical beeping sound wakes me up.
"HUH?" I groan out.
"How did you sleep, princess?" I hear Brian's voice call out.
"Terrible." I say groggily.
"That's a shame. But what the hell happened to you?" He asks confused.
"I don't know. You tell me." I growl.
"Calm your tits, man. I'll go get the doctor." He says defensively. Brian walks out and comes back 5 minutes later with the pack doctor, Teresa.
"Alpha, how are you feeling?" She asks, using my formal title.
"My head hurts a bit. But do you have any idea what caused it?" I ask the Teresa. Teresa is a kind woman, about 60 years old, and is aging around her eyes. Her roots are greying but she is still a beautiful woman. I've known her since I was 5, when I took a tumble down the stairs. She is almost like a grandmother to me.
"Well, Duck, my results are somewhat inconclusive. Unles..... well... that couldn't be. Never mind." She says hesitantly. She called me by my childhood nickname, Duck, the joke is, I was never able to say 'Declan" until I was 8. So I called myself Duck.
"What, Nana Tea?" I ask confused by her response.
"Recently... have you... Well... Have you heard of the legends. The one of the Omega, perhaps? I mean they are supposedly only legends, but..." She says slowly.
"Yes.." I say confused.
"Well... Have you found a true mate." She asks. I frown thinking of Cheyenne.
"Yes" I say above a whisper. Only a werewolf could hear that.
"I see... By any chance did you reject her? Or did she reject you?" She asks, trying to not step on my toes.
"She rejected me." I say softly, tears brimming my eyes.
" I see... How long ago was it?" She asks softly.
"Ah. I see. Well I'm surprised this is happening so much later. Either that or.." She stops mid sentence.
"Or what?" I ask.
"Ummmm"
"Or what?" I growl this time.
"or she is either having some sort of trauma.... or mating again..." She whispers the last part.
"oh." I gasp. A tear slips from my eyes.
"I'm sorry Duck, I will leave you alone for now. I will check on you in a bit..." Teresa walks out of the room.
I let everything go. I cry and cry and cry. I feel all alone. No wolf, no Cheyenne. No one. Nothing. Just emptiness.
{Cheyenne} I call through a mind link.
{Cheyenne, please} I beg.
{Answer me}  I almost give up, but then her voice stops me.
[Declan, stop. Please. Stop looking for me, stop trying to contact me. Just leave me alone, you've done enough already.] My heart breaks a little more with every word she says.
{Cheyenne, please. I need you. I miss you. My wolf hasn't talked to me since the day after you left. I've gone crazy without you.} I explain truthfully.
[Well... You have Caroline. You have a child with her, you don't need me. I don't need you either. So just Stop.] She says sadly. She cuts me off from the link. Dammit! Why was I so stupid?
I lay down and try to rest. But a startling dream comes to me.

******Dream*****
"AHHHHHHH" A feminine voice screams in agony.
"Push baby girl, push!" The doctor encourages.
"I can't!" She cries. "I'm too tired!"
"You have to, Cheyenne. It's not good for the baby."
"Okay...... AHHHHHHHHHHH!" She screams again. the silence is then disturbed by a beautiful baby's cry.
"It's a girl!" The doctor says excitedly. "Wait.. there's another.
"AHHHH" The mother screams again.
"PUSH!" The doctor encourages again.
After a few minutes of pushing there is another cry.
"It's a boy!" The doctor calls out.
"Alright mommy, you've done enough. Get some rest."
"Okay." She says lazily. Even after hours of childbirth she looks beautiful... Wait? Childbirth? She's already mated with someone else?
