LISA'S POV

I run and run with tears flowing in my eyes. I stop when I got outside the hospital and I'm getting weird stares from people around me in the open space parking lot. But i don't care, all I think is Jennie.
Sorry Love. I'm a coward.

I can't confront her or tell her like I'm some ghost and just say "Hey Love, I'm back.."
I don't have courage to face her. I ghosted her and I don't know if I'm still the one in her heart, was that boy her new boyfriend? Fuck! Why did I even get into this mess! I should have said NO.

"Arghhh! Fuck it!" I was cussing and shouting while slapping my forehead.

I got inside my car and decided to go to my hotel.

You might be wondering what happened to me after I left the country. Me and my mom stayed in my grandparents farm, away from the city of Bangkok. So I don't have any signal or wifi there.

n the first week of our stay in the farm, I asked my mom if I can go back to South Korea earlier than our flight because I miss My Jennie. When my mom agreed, I rebook my flight the next day.
When it's time for me to board the plane, I was stopped by 4 big guys.

They were Mr. Kim's men. Jennie's father.
They drag me outside the airport and I end up kneeling infront of Mr. Kim inside his own private room on top of his Hotel building.

"Hello Lalisa.." Mr.Kim said with a smirk in his face, he's holding an envelope and he toss it in front of me. Pictures were scattered on the floor. Jennie and I were photographed since we were first dated. I remember it cause the pictures have dates.

"H-how? I-I mean, Mr. Kim why?" I asked with a hint of nervousness.

"How dare you teach my daughter how to lie straight to my face!" He shout in my face and grab my hair to look up in him.

"I didn't do anything bad Sir, p-please l-let me go..." I begged while looking in his eyes.

"We are planning to tell you about our relationship..but were waiting for the right time.. I love Jennie, I love your daughter." I said with all honesty.

He got triggered  with what I said and he slapped me so hard, so hard that I kissed the floor.

"Huh! Love? Nonsense! You are not the right person for my daughter, she don't deserve you! So, stay away from Jennie!" He shouted

I cried and I stayed lying on the floor.

"N-no, you're not Jennie. She can decide for herself, Sir."

He grab my hair, forcing me to stand up.
"You piece of shit! You don't talk to me like that and it's my decision to make who will she marry!"

He pushed me against the wall and his right hand is choking my neck.

"STAY. AWAY. FROM. JENNIE! Or you and your mother will be dead! You understand me!?!"

I can't talk cause I'm choking and I'm losing my consciousness.

He loosen his grip in my neck and I slumped down in the floor.

" I *cough* understand..." I mumbled

"Good girl. Now we're clear. Boys, get her out of my face!" He commanded

And that's the last thing I heard after I totally passed out.

Back to the present.

I'm inside of the elevator right now heading to our temporary place here in Seoul while I handle my unfinished business here.

JENNIE'S POV

I'm still crying while lying in the hospital bed. I can't be wrong, that's Lisa... that's here voice. 

"Hey, Jennie! Can you hear me? What's wrong with you. And who's Lisa?" Ji-young asked and held my face with his hands.

"She's my...g-girl..." I hesitated for a moment and look at Ji-young.

He raised his eyebrows waiting for me to continue. But my tongue got tied and I can say the GIRLFRIEND.

I cry harder when I realized that maybe that's the reason why she don't want me anymore.

I always kept here like a sacred secret.

Time skips. It's been a week since I got out of the hospital. After the night Lisa visited me, I stayed there for 2 more days, waiting for her. Hoping that maybe she will visit me again, but I was hopeless.

And today my mom is preparing my big day for tomorrow. It's my birthday and I'm still hoping to see Lisa so we could talk about US. I even invited Rosé, maybe just maybe she knows where Lisa stays.

The night came and venue is jammed with my batch mates and my relatives. When I was called to get up on the stage, I could see the faces of everyone from here. I spotted Rosé entering the main door.

"Happy Birthday Our dearest daughter. What else I can wish, well we are happy that you are happy Jennie, and we are happy that Ji-young is here to take care of you, and we are so happy to call him our son in-law. *chuckle* I mean soon, I hope. Enjoy this night Princess! And thank you to everyone who came here to celebrate with us." Dad said in a long speech.

I was stunned for a moment hearing what my dad said. Son in-law? No fvcking way! I'm not so pleased hearing that they set me up with their friends son.

I saw my dad walking out of the stage and I look at my mom with nervous smile. So she knows this shit too?

I pull my mom down the stage. The music in this hall was a bit noisy.

"Mom! What was that?"

" Jennie, it's for your future, please understand..."

"Understand what mom?! You and dad don't know what's my future! You can't just decide for me. I'm old enough to make a decision on my won, mom."
I half shouted

"Oh dear, please calm down. Sorry, I will talk to your dad after the party. But for tonight please enjoy your party. Okay?"

"It's already ruined mom. Thanks to both of you." I said and walk out on her.

I was about to ditch my own party when I saw Rosé talking with.... Lisa.

All the anger and disappointment I feel vanished. It was replace with longing and excitement.
