i have to watch.
he's running, i need to go back.
someone pulls me back, keeping me in place.
i need to go back.
our light is dimming, i'm fighting.
hold on for me nick, just hold on.
i hear more yelling, more hands holding me back.
away from my lover.
i need him back.
i did this.
our love is dimming.
pain so clear and toxic, i need to find him, need to relight that candle.
i lit the spark for our downfall, extinguishing the one for our love.
i fight against them, fight to get to him.
i scream silently, the words getting caught in my throat.
george grabs me, tugging at my arm, begging for me to stop.
i try to get out of his grasp, i need him.
my mouth is dry, seeing what happened.
he's gone.
forever.
my breathing slows, choking on my words.
i fall to my knees, unable to grasp the truth.
it's so cold, the flames don't do anything.
the air is foggy, i can't see anything.
i lost him.
i didn't even get to say goodbye.
