ch.3 Revelations and shopping

HER POV~

I looked at the money in my hands it had been a week since Vernon had given me the money...I had been careful not to let Dudley steal it. I pulled on the oversized Hoodie which I had borrowed from Dudley's room and washed it once since I could not tolerate the smell it gave off. I placed the money in the bag which I had also borrowed from his room although unnoticed by him.

I looked at the time on the broken watch that Dudley had thrown away. 7:36 It read. I walked away from the dirty household and called a cab once I was far away from it I hailed a taxi to the center of London and got off called another taxi and went off to Charring crossroad.

I walked around till I found out what I was looking for ' The Leaky cauldron'. I went inside after adjusting my definitely manly headband being sure to cover the scar and pulled my hoodie to hide my eyes.

" hello sir can you please open the way to Diagon Ally my parents are on the other side and I accidentally got separated from them"

" of course, young man come here"

I followed him to the back of the pub. The pub was exactly like the books described it to be

"so what is your name dear and are you first year ?"

" Names Dan Radcliff and yes sir I'm a first-year but I haven't gotten my wand yet "

After he opened the gateway I thanked him and made my way into Diagon Alley

I made my way to the intimating building of Gringotts. I halted in my steps as a thought crossed my mind what if Dumbledore was a manipulative jerk just as the FanFictions said after all I had already changed the storyline what with Hagrid not accompanying me here and all... I decided to play it safe for now, instead of asking for Griphook I will ask for another Goblin

I climbed the marble stairs and gave a respectful nod toward the guardian Goblin.

they looked shocked but nodded back nonetheless

I made my way toward an Empty teller

"Noble goblin I want to take an inheritance test" he looked up at the respectful greeting

" Razerclaw will company you to the test room"

A short Goblin who introduced himself as Razorclaw guided me to the long twisted corridors of Gringotts

we stopped in front of a pair of dark oak doors

"This is sir Darkfang's office he will be attending to your business soon please wait"

razerclaw opened the doors "Have a seat sir Darkfang will be here soon " then razerclaw left me alone

I looked around the office and found a book labeled Gringotts and its Services just in front of me

I knew I shouldn't be tampering with other's offices but I just couldn't help myself. I picked up the book and looked at its index.

soon I found out the topic I was looking for

' Thieves and Thievery' I read it all and was pleased to know that I could remove my account manager if he was found guilty.

I looked at the watch 15 minutes had passed and this darkfang had not shown up yet. I shrugged and went to another topic that interested me that being ' Gringotts and healing'

I had already finished the topic and another when I heard footsteps. I quickly placed the book correctly in its place and pretended to look at the office
