It was the day after the ball. Karma hadn't decided who's going to be his bride yet because Nagisa was still missing. Okuda was mad that Karma didn't pick her. "I mean... w-we used to be f-f-friends." Okuda sobbed and Kanzaki gave her a pat on the back. That pat might be too hard.
As for Nagisa, he was still living peacefully by himself in that cottage. Well, not until today. He was listening to some music and singing out loud while cleaning. "Katarenai nemurenai toroimerai~" Nagisa sang as he swept the floor.
What he didn't know was that a certain someone was watching him from outside the house. "Anata no miteru shotai~" Nagisa's voice rang out into the empty forest. Again, that certain someone kept on spying on him from a bush nearby.
"Dare mo yomenai karute~" Nagisa sang again and this time, that stalker joined him. "Fukashigi shiritai dake~" The two voices combined together which made a perfect harmony. But of course, our Nagisa knew that someone was singing with him so he peeked out of the window and asked. "Hello?"
"How can I help you?" Nagisa smiled as a figure appeared from the bush nearby. "Oh nothing, I just heard you singing and decide to join in." The figure said. Nagisa couldn't tell if that person was a male or female because they had a hood on. "No wait, there's something that I need help with. I'm selling apples and I haven't got any customers today. Would you mind buying one?" They said and reached inside the basket to pull out a red apple.
"But this is not a normal apple my dear. Oh no, this is a magic apple. One bite and your wish will come true. You know what, since you're my first customer, this apple is free." Nagisa doubted them but when he heard the word "free" he agreed to buy the apple. We're all blinded by the word "free". "Just one bite and my wish will come true?" Nagisa asked and the other person nodded. "Yes, hurry up now my dear. You don't want the magic to go to waist!" And with that Nagisa took a bite of the apple.
"I feel strange..." Nagisa said and collapsed to the ground. The other person removed their hood to see a smirking Okuda glaring at the boy on the ground. "That's what you get for ruining my happily ever after, you ungrateful brat!" She spatted and disappeared in a cloud of smoke.
_Meanwhile at Karma's palace_
Karma was just about to sneak out when his other best friend, Maehara came over to hang out. "Hey, what's up man?" Maehara asked with a charming smile that could make anyone fall for him. "Why are you here?" Karma asked, sounding a bit annoyed rather than glad to meet his friend.
"Do I need an excuse to visit my friend now?" Maehara raised his hands which just made Karma more annoyed. "I thought you were planning your future wedding right now."
"Nah, it's fine. Isogai and the maids can handle it." The blonde guy winked and asked again. "So, any plans for today?"
"Yes, I need to go into the woods. Alone." Karma said and with that, he flew out of the window. "Wow, that was quick." Maehara muttered to himself as he continued to daydream about his future family.
_Meanwhile at Nagisa's place_
"Hey Nagisa! I brought you some ingredients!" Kanzaki called out from the doorway that leads into the cottage, with Hinano following her closely. "Nagisa?" Kanzaki asked again and looked around the small house. "Look Kanzaki!" Hinano shouted and pointed to the floor. "For the last time, I don't care about bugs or insects so stop pointing to random things like that." Kanzaki scowled at the sister.
"No, just look!" Hinano said again and Kanzaki followed her direction to find... "Nagisa! What happened?" Kanzaki dropped the basket she was holding and started shaking Nagisa's body. "Hey, there's some kind of message on the floor next to his body!" Hinano pointed at the symbols next to Nagisa's body. "But, I can't understand this symbols." Kanzaki smile saddened when she saw the weird symbols on the floor.
"Can I have a look?" A mysterious voice outside the door said. The two sisters turned around to see a short figure standing outside of the house. "And you are?" Hinano asked suspiciously while eyeing the figure.
"The name is Sans. I just teleported here. Anyways, that symbols look like wingdings to me so here's the alphabet. Bye." And with that, the figure disappeared, leaving a sheet of paper behind.
"Ready to solve this puzzle sis?" Hinano said excitedly. "You bet, let's get started then!" Kanzaki replied and they both started translating the message.
_After 5 minutes or so_
"Yes! Done!" Hinano punched her fist up into thin air and looked at the translated message. 'To save the poison person here, a kiss is needed, is that clear? But fair warning don't reach your doom, the kisser must not be married then their life shall bloom.'
"So all he needed is a kiss from someone who is not married?" Kanzaki said blankly after re-reading for the fifth time. "But where and how are we going to find the right person?" Hinano asked. Suddenly, an idea hit her in the head.
"How about some kind of festival where we invite all the single man in this kingdom to kiss Nagisa?" Hinano said excitedly. "That would need a lot of energy but I like your idea. Let's do it!" Kanzaki said with a smile and the plan of the sisters started...
