Chapter 15: His new home

After a few minutes of running away from that awful house, Nagisa stopped in front of a small cottage. It wasn't Karma's place because the color was different. He knocked at the door, hoping that someone would open it but the door was unlocked so he stepped in.

The house was quite simple. There was a bathroom, a bedroom, and a kitchen. It seemed like no one live here and this house just appeared out of nowhere. Just then, Kanzaki came in the house and saw Nagisa. "Oh good, I see you have found my secret hiding place. It's yours, for now." Kanzaki smiled at Nagisa. She might be Okuda's daughter but she's the sweetest of them all. She tried to kill him, yes, but he knew she was forced to do it.

"How long had this house been here?" Nagisa asked, a little but surprised at his sister for building this place. "I built this house when I was 16, so it had been here for 3 years now." Kanzaki replied sweetly and turned to Nagisa. "Hey, can you do me a favor? I don't want anyone to know that you are here so please, just pretend that you have... disappeared somehow. That means no contacts, not even telepathy with your boyfriend, do you understand? Oh, and if you are worried about your garden then Hinano will take care of that place for you. We knew how much you love that place after all."

Nagisa was surprised by Kanzaki's words. Not only did she knew about his secret boyfriend but she also knew they talked through telepathy. "How did you know that?" Kanzaki smiled a little. "I have my ways. So, do you agree with the favor?" Nagisa thought about the favor. It was hard to decide because what will he do without Karma. But on the other hand, they had been the only reason that he had stayed in that house, so it's not that hard to return a favor.

"Ok, I'll do it." Nagisa said and looked at Kanzaki. "I owe you one." She smiled back and walked out of the house, leaving Nagisa alone in the house with nothing to do. Actually, he thought that this place could use a little cleaning, so he grabbed the broom and started sweeping the place. He sang a bit to entertain himself while doing the job.

_Time skip_

Time went by and Nagisa spent all day cleaning and redecorating the place so now, it looked even better than before. He found some ingredients in the fridge and started cooking. After cooking, it was eating and cleaning and finally, bedtime.

Kanzaki had brought him a picture of Karma to look at so Nagisa wouldn't miss him. He sighed as he looked at the picture, wondering when will he able to meet the redhead in person again. Nagisa smiled at the ceiling at the happy thoughts of his boyfriend, but that smile quickly turned into a frown at the thought of Karma being unhappy because he can't talk to him. After all, this was what Okuda wants, for Nagisa to disappear so that she and Karma could be together. But he wasn't going to except the fact the Karmanami will be canon... and neither did the girls at the tea party.

Oh well, 1 week left until the ball. Nagisa couldn't go so he didn't care very much. But Karma did. He was planning to introduce Nagisa to his father. Two people with 2 opposite thoughts, what to do?
