Chapter 23: So when are you going to tell her?

Firstly, let me explain the timeline here. The day of the party is actually a few weeks after Karma and Nagisa were engaged. Nagisa is now 19 and Karma is 26. Kanzaki's house in the edge of the woods and she gave that house to Nagisa as a gift so the house is Nagisa's. Yeah, that's it. Enjoy!

Ichika and Karma were chilling in his Karma's cottage. Just then, Nagisa walked by and decided to watch them. Ichika was wearing a golden necklace with a red ruby shaped like a heart. Suddenly, he had a flashback to when they were dating.

"Hey Nagisa! I bought this for you!" Karma said as he held the necklace in front of the shorter boy. "It looks valuable, are you sure about this?" Nagisa asked as Karma put the necklace on him. "This is my gift for you and only you. You're the only one for me, you know?" And Karma kissed Nagisa on his forehead which made Nagisa giggled.

Nagisa snapped out of his daze and watched Karma put the necklace on Ichika. "Thank you Karma. This looks beautiful!" Ichika exclaimed. "Yeah, this is my gift for you..." Karma trailed off.

Ichika didn't seem to notice though. She was too busy admiring her new jewelry. Nagisa from outside just stared at her in disgust. 'She doesn't even notice his tone. He sounded so depressed. I hope he's ok. But why did he have to give her that, and say that sentence to her too?'

Nagisa's thoughts continued to play with him as he watched Karma being showered with hugs and kisses. "Hey do you want to hear a song?" Karma asked which made the mood changed. "Of course!" Ichika smiled and wrapped her arms around her boyfriend.

"Kiritsu! Rei! Lock on! Kiritsu! Rei! Lock on! Oh yeah! Sensei! Target on!"Karma started to sing. Nagisa realized the song almost immediately. Then he had a flashback to that time they hung out at a karaoke place.

"Hey Nagisa! Do you want to sing with me?" Karma smiled and offered his hand. "Sure!" Nagisa said excitedly and took Karma's hand. "Kiritsu! Rei! Lock on! Kiritsu! Rei! Lock on!" They started singing. Nagisa's enthusiastic voice with Karma's calm, lazy voice mixed together very well.

"Mr. Teacher oshiete mikansei na bokura." Karma had got to the chorus while Nagisa was having a flashback. Nagisa sang the lyrics to the song quietly in his head with Karma singing to his girlfriend.

"That was amazing!" Ichika squealed as Karma finished the song. "Yeah, thanks." Karma said with his smirk. Only this time it wasn't the playful smirk he usually gave Nagisa. No, it was a sad smirk.

"Let's go to town!" Ichika said and dragged Karma out of his cottage and in direct to the small town. Luckily, they didn't notice Nagisa who was surprised by them. He recovered from the shock and chose to follow them. (Fuwa: since when did Nagisa became a stalker)

They went into a carriage that was from Karma's place. After a while, Nagisa finally recognized the carriage. And then, there's another flashback.

"What is this?" Nagisa asked when he saw the interior of the carriage. "It's a carriage... use for making love." Karma smirked and started stripping. "You're such a pervert." Nagisa said and climbed onto the bed in the carriage.

Karma and Ichika went in the carriage, and started... doing it. They did a few rounds before the carriage finally arrived at the town. Poor Nagisa had to listen to the noises they made.

In town, the new couple went shopping. Just Ichika dragging Karma through shops and he just had to pay the bill. It was sad, honestly because Ichika hadn't changed.

That night, Nagisa lay on his bed crying his eyes out. He missed Karma, but he didn't want to except that fact. Nagisa knew that sooner or later, he was gonna have to take Karma back. He loved him too much to move on.

"Hey Nagisa?" A voice called out from the window facing his bed. Nagisa got up and went to the window. The person standing there made him want to cry some more.

"Karma... why are you here? I thought you were with your girlfriend." Nagisa sighed to stop the tears forming in his eyes. "You knew?" Karma asked in surprise.

"So when are you going to tell her... that we did that too? She thinks it's special, but it's all reuse. So answer me, did you get deja vu?" Nagisa sang the first two sentences, because Karma knew he only used lyrics when he was feeling that exact feeling.

"Answer me Karma. Are you really happy with her?" Nagisa said, tears now rolling down his cheeks. He closed the window and ran back to his bed. Nagisa then cried his eyes out, all night, until morning.

Karma on the other hand, just ran back to his cottage. "Hey, you're back!" Ichika ran out to hug him as he stepped through the front doors. "How about we do something to cheer you up?" The pink hair girl said with a seductive tone. Yeah, and then they did it... again. (Rio: You are making people suffer, Luna.)

"Hey Karma? I know you're still contacting with that blue haired trap. Why couldn't you just leave him?" Ichika hugged Karma and asked. Karma stayed silent.

"I'm giving you a choice Karma! Him or me?" Ichika's voice got louder. (Hayami: Goddamn it, she's so annoying. I want to shoot her!). Karma thought about the decision he had to make. "Would Nagisa make you choose like this?" A small voice in Karma's head spoke. Karma was getting his senses back.

"You are really going to choose that good for nothing bitch over me? I have everything! And what can he offer you?" Ichika started yelling loudly.

"You know what, fuck you! Get out of my house and never contact me again!" Karma said as he pushed her out of the door. Ichika looked surprised as she was literally thrown out into the dark woods. "Oh, and this is mine!" Karma said and pulled the necklace off her neck.

_At the tea party_

"Let's go! Karmagisa is back!" Fuwa said, while dancing madly around the place. "Stop, wait! Let me join you." Rio cried out and started dancing with Fuwa.

"Their victory dances are weird." Maehara muttered quietly to Isogai who was eating cookies. "We should join them!" Ritsu smiled and pulled Maehara and Isogai up to dance with the others. "Chiba, can you give us some music?" Kayano asked.

Chiba who was chilling with Hayami nodded and played the music. Then they all danced their victory dances. "To Karmagisa!" Kayano said and raised her glass. "To Karmagisa!!!" The other shippers yelled and they happily partied all night.
