Evil lurks everywhere and Ava had to learn it the hard way. She never knew Tristan could be her one way ticket to hell. Looking intensely at him, she straightforward asked.

"Tristan... I'm asking you again... what exactly are we doing here?" She leaned on the table to get her message across since he pretended not hearing it before.

"We're chilling... and... I promise you, it gets fun towards midnight." His lips curving to a sinister smirk that got her insides churn. She's seen him looking smug before but never like this... evil.

"What kind of fun are you talking about?" She probed some more, not satisfied with the unclear picture he's trying to paint out.

"You'll see..." He says teasingly, chugging a few gulps of wine from his almost emptied glass.

"I can't stay that late... dorm rules." She's clutching Rian's bag under the table, wishing in her head that he doesn't notice how scared she's getting right now.

There was a certain vibe she's getting from him. A vibe that Rian already pointed out a few times before but Ava stupidly ignored it. Now she's starting to feel trapped, remembering she left her phone charging in his car.

"You're not coming home to your dorm tonight..." He said with authority.

"I don't do sleepovers... I'll just go ahead then." Ava didn't want to know what else was going on so she started scooting out of the long couch only to have Tristan stop her with a firm grip on her arm.

"You owe me..." He whispered in a low raspy tone, glaring at Ava with gritted teeth.

"You're hurting me..." She snapped back, trying to get his hold off her.

"... and I'm gonna hurt you even more if you don't cooperate."

"Tristan... I thought... I'll pay you back... just give me some time... please." She asked him, desperately trying to get out of this mess.

"Awww... now you're pleading? I'd rather see the feisty side of you... it's more exciting." He says looking more and more evil in her sight.

Tears are now forming in her eyes, trying so hard to think of a solution before the clock hits midnight. "Tristan... please? I'll pay you back, just give me more time."

"Okay, I'll strike you a deal... you work for me and I'll go easy on you... no deadlines, no interest... But if you want to get funds outside, you need to pay me double... this week." Tristan said looking all cocky and in full control.

"But that's impossible... I can't pay you next week..."

"That's why I'm giving you an option... work for me Ava and you'll have more than enough money to pay your entire 4-year stay in school... plus more." He chimed, tempting you to give in.

"I'll find my own way just please give me more time." Ava pleaded.

"Look, I'm not a bad guy Ava... I'm here to get you off your misery... Don't you want to at least try working for me once before turning down the offer point blank?"

She stepped out of Tristan's car feeling numb all over. Not even sure how she got her feet to take her back to her dorm room. Ava fell on the bed, feeling the fluffy cushion and duvet support her weight.
