MACKENZIE'S POV
In this particular dance school, instead of teaching one specific type of dance, they teach all types of dance. Some students choose to learn one specific type of dance, while others learn two or three depending on how fast of a learner they are Or how good they are. I wish I could learn, but I cannot afford any of the classes. I've always loved dancing. It was a hobby of mine that only my mom knew of. That was why I decided to apply to work here so I could watch and learn from a distant and fortunately for me I got hired.
The school's really big and they have the best dance teachers there. If only I could have afforded the tuition, I would have joined the salsa and break dance class. I loved those dances and learning how to do them would be a dream come true.
It seemed that I had arrived early. The secretary wasn't around, so I tidied up the place a little bit and started to work before she'd get here.
AUSTIN'S POV
I dance because there is no greater feeling in the world than moving a piece of music and letting the rest of the world disappear. Dance also comes naturally to me because most of my family members are dancers so technically it's in my blood.
Classes here at North are okay. We are taught a different kind of dance every day. Today, we had ballet. I love ballet but it's a little hard for me, but it doesnt mean i'm planning to give up on it. I was going to practice until i perfect every technique.
It was almost lunch time and I couldn't wait to see Mackenzie.
Lunch break
Finally, it was lunch time. I asked Mackenzie to meet me at the parking lot so we could get some food to eat together and maybe get to know each other a little more now that we were going to be friends. I waited for her but she didn't show up and it was almost time for class so I went looking for her at thw secretary's office. When I got to the secretary's office, she had her face buried in some work papers with her headphones on. I actually feel bad for her. I almost thought she ignored me. I knocked on their door
before entering."Hi Austin" the secretary greeted
"Hi Miss June"
"Do you need anything dear"
"Yh. Can I see your assistant for a second"
"Oh sure. I didn't know that you two knew eachother"
"We met this morning. Can I still see her? Lunch breaks almost over"
"Oh sure."
"Mackenzie, you have a vistor" the secretary said as she tapped on Mackenzie's desk to get her attention.
"I'm sorry, what did you say ma'am"
"I said you have a visitor"
"Oh, " Mackenzie said before raising her head to see who it was.
When she finally noticed me, I signaled her to meet me outside.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't meet up with you. I was a little busy, as you can see. Were you able to go get food"
"No I didn't. I was waiting for you."
"I'm really sorry you missed lunch because of me. How can I make it up to you"
"Can we still meet up before we go home"
"Sure. I promise you, I am going to come"
"That's good enough. See you after class"
"Alright. Bye"
We both said before heading to our various places.
