Peter Parker walked through the bustling streets of Manhattan, slipping on his headphones to try to drown out the sound of traffic lights, cars and people walking along the long pavements. The last thing he wanted was to have a sensory overload and draw attention to himself.
It had been a month since Dr. Stephen Strange cast a spell to make everyone forget about him, and yet he still didn't have the courage to tell his best friend and guy in the chair - Ned - who he was. Peter thought it was better this way, no one would be affected. The undeniable truth was right in front of him: Everyone he loved would die, He understood that sounded a little dramatic and negative, but it was the truth. First, it was his parents, after, it was Uncle Ben, then it was his mentor and father figure - Tony stark. And finally, when he thought he couldn't lose anyone anymore, he lost Aunt May and his friends and coworkers - MJ, Ned, Dr. Strange and literally anyone else.
Now it's Christmas time, and he misses his friend, girl friend (ex-girlfriend) and his aunt May. They all used spent the Christmas together and had tons of fun. He didn't know what to do this Christmas to not feel lonely.
He walked up the stairs to his apartment, and put his key into the lock, he pushed the door open and was shocked to see a girl who seemed to be his age with green eyes, dark black hair and red highlights, she smiled slightly upon his arrival,
"Hi, nice to you see you've finally arrived," she said."I'm sorry, do I know you?" peter said in slight shock, readying his web-shooters if it was necessary, but he noticed his spidey-sense didn't go off, so this girl must have not been a threat.
"No, but I know you," she paused before continuing with a small smirk,
"Spiderman."
