You and Jaden are married with three children aria Brooklyn and Brody
Jaden still has the odd call from his manager about work

You wake up to aria knocking on your bedroom door
You wake up to Jaden not in bed
You: yes ari?
Aria: can I go out with my friends?
You: as long as you're back by 5
Aria: thank you thank you thank you
You: I'll make an excuse for your dad
Aria: thanks mom
You: of course
She leaves and Jaden walks in
Jaden: hey princess
You: hey my love
You kiss him but he is interrupted by his phone ringing
Jaden takes one look at it and excuses himself to the corner
Jaden: hey what's up?
Manager: we or I should say you are going on tour.
Jaden: where?
Manager: San Diego
Jaden: I don't know I have a wife and teenagers this is a crucial time to be in their lives
Manager: it's 2 weeks give or take
Jaden: what's the give?
Manager: a week the take which I presume you were about to ask is a month
Jaden; that's too long
Manager: consider it you have 2 days until your flight
Jaden: ok I'll get back to you
Jaden ends the call and you look at him
You: manager?
Jaden: yeah she wants me to go on tour in San Diego
You: so you should go
Jaden: why?
You: you love singing and you're good at it
Jaden: you're missing the point
You: what?
Jaden: our children are teenagers I'd be missing out on a crucial time in their lives
You: sweetie I know what it's like to not have a dad around and you're nothing like that you're kind and caring and that's why I love you you're not abandoning them you're simply doing your job
Jaden: it doesn't feel like that
You; well it should because it's true you are nothing like my dad you love your children and that's all they want someone to reciprocate the love that they have for you so I say take it it's what 2 weeks
Jaden: a month at most
You: by that time the kids will be off school anyway
Jaden: I'm gonna say no
You: look at me
He looks at you and you cup his face
You: do you know why I'm telling you to do this?
Jaden: why?
You: cause it's your passion it's been your passion since you were a child so when you get offered your dream job you take it no hesitations plus it's in San Diego you're always saying how much you want to visit it now's you're chance and I promise when you get back everything will be the same

You: I promise

Jaden; I mean like while I'm gone we've never discussed this cause of the children but I think it's a good time to discuss it now
You: I'm ok being the wife of a singer
Jaden: and I'm ok with that but do you not have any passions you want to do?
You: no
