The Kiss and The Problem

[Calum's p.o.v. continued]

"AH-HA!! BUSTED!" Laura shouts.

"AHH!!" We scream.

"I told you they were making out" Laura says to Ashley.

"Yeah, you did." Ashley says walking away with Laura trailing behind.

As Kiley goes to follow them, mumbling something about stabbing them with a spork, I do something way out of my comfort zone.

I grab her arm, twirl her around, look into her eyes,

And I kiss her.

[Michael's p.o.v.]

Great, just great. I think. I feel like the guy in blue.

Of course they went after each other. They're so simaler. I should have volunteered to go after Royal and she would have kissed me instead of Calum.

I watch as Calum pulls back and smiles at Royal. I watch Royal bite her lip, smile, and walk away with Calum following.

I hate that Calum got to her first. I wish she was mine.

I shake my head and walk into the living room.

"We were NOT !"

"We SAW you Royal, you can't deny it!"

"You SAW us leaning in to kiss, You DID NOT see us making out."

"Uh, yeah, We did."

"What ever" Royal says falling back into Calum.

Royal has her feet up on the couch and her back against Calum. Her feet are where I was sitting. Which means I have to sit on the floor.

"Oh! Sorry Michael! I'll move." Royal says as she goes to move.

"No its okay. I'll sit on the floor."

"No, I'll move."

"No, its ok" I say sitting on the floor.

"You sure?"

"Yep."

"Okay" she says falling back into Calum.

A phone rings and Royal looks at Laura and Ashley with wide eyes. I recognize the ringtone as our song English Love Affair.

"Who's phone is that?" Luke asks.

"Shit!" Royal exclaims jumping up and grabbing a cell on the coffee table.

She answers the phone and runs out of the room. Calum gets up to follow her.

"Don't Calum." Laura says calmly.

"Who was that?" I ask.

"Gage" She says.

"Gage?" Calum asks.

"Gage..... Gage is Royal's....." She trails off.

"Royal's what?" Calum asks.

Laura takes a deep breath.

"Gage is Royal's boyfriend."
