Struggling || Murphamy & Jonty AU [ON HOLD]

Prologue

"Addy, come on. We have to go, or we'll be late." Bellamy sighed, chasing after the hyper six year old. She had to be at school in ten minutes, and she hadn't even had breakfast yet.

"No daddy, you have to catch me!" Adelaide giggled, running into her room. Bellamy ran after her, almost slipping on a stuffed animal that lay on the floor. He grabbed the six year old, giving her a kiss on the cheek.

"Caught you." He teased, earning a pout from.

"No fair." Addy crossed her arms. Bellamy carried her into the kitchen, setting her down on the counter. Addy let out a huff as she looked down at the ground. Bellamy smiled to himself, knowing she was to scared to jump off.

Bellamy looked through the cabinets, trying to find something he could give to Addy. He let out a sigh, not finding anything. He really needed to go shopping. He turned around to look at Addy, but she was gone.

Bellamy cursed under his breath as he looked around. She wasn't in the kitchen and the attached living room, so she was either in one of the bedrooms or the bathroom. Bellamy searched the rooms, finding Addy in her own, playing with a Barbie.

"Come on, we're going. We'll get breakfast at McDonalds or something." Bellamy instructed, picking up his daughter.

"No!" Adelaide screamed, thrashing around. "I don't want to go to school!" She cried, tears running down her face. Bellamy groaned as he grabbed her backpack and walked to the front door.

She's been doing this everyday for the past two weeks. Always screaming and crying when Bellamy mentioned school. And he had no idea why. But right now they were late, Addy for school, and Bellamy for work.

"Well you have to." Bellamy replied, setting Addy down. He looked around, trying to find his car keys. Eventually he found them under a pile of bills that he has yet to pay.

"But I don't want to, I want to stay with you!" Addy screamed, stomping her foot. Bellamy bent down to his daughters height. He took her face in his hands, his thumbs caressing her cheeks.

"Come on Princess, it's Friday. You go today, then all weekend we get to be together." Bellamy cooed, wiping away a few tears off of Addy's cheeks. He placed a kiss on her head before standing up and leading her out of their apartment.
