Thankfully, when Takemichi's heat happens, he's safely tucked away in his packs home, tucked securely up against his lover's chest. He wakes up too hot, sweat beading over his forehead, whining and kicking what remains of the sheets off his legs and pawing at the muscled arm around his waist.

It's the weekend, which means that Takemichi and Draken get to sleep in. Draken doesn't need to open D&D Motors until noon, while Mikey has a half-day training kids at his family's dojo.

Under normal circumstances, it was a schedule that worked reasonably well, but now that Takemichi's heat looms in the very immediate future, he curses Mikey's grandfather for leaving the dojo to Mikey, instead of his older brothers Shinichiro and Izana.

"Mmm – "

This isn't Takemichi's first heat, but it is his first one with Mikey and Draken as his mates. Takemichi wasn't used to having a pack. Growing up he only lived with his elderly grandmother who was a beta, and he'd lived without the protection of alphas and other betas for most of his life. And it was only in his last year of middle school when he joined the Tokyo Manji pack – or Toman – as they were better known as that he was adopted by Mikey's pack.

How could they not adopt the sweet omega? The doe-eyed cry-baby who consistently put his life and happiness on the line for them, time and time again. Getting stabbed and shot by hunters to save those the members of Toman held dear.

Having a 'family' was nice, but it had been hard for Takemichi in the beginning as he felt the pull of a mating bond with both Mikey and Draken – the second in command of Toman. The two older men were already an – item – of sorts before Takemichi joined the pack and he didn't want to ruin what they had.

However, the attraction between them grew with every passing day. Takemichi's inner omega became extremely overprotective and almost went feral when they nearly lost Draken to a stab wound when a rival pack attacked them after what was meant to be a happy summer festival.

Then going near-feral again when Mikey's little sister, Emma, was attacked and nearly bludgeoned to death by an evil beta, who was in love with Mikey and wanted the charismatic alpha all to himself. The beta – Kisaki – stupidly thought that by taking out all those Mikey held dear and destroying his pack, it would give the beta a chance to worm his way into Mikey's heart.

Thankfully Izana had disposed of the beta himself by ripping his throat out. Kisaki was gone now and couldn't ever harm Mikey or his precious pack ever again.

Despite how attracted Takemichi was to Mikey and Draken, possessing a mating bond with two alphas was uncommon, maybe even unheard of for many, but the three of them were undoubtedly drawn to one another. And there was already a three-way relationship going on in Toman with the alpha/beta/omega coupling consisting of Baji Keisuke, Matsuno Chifuyu, and Hanemiya Kazutora. So, it wouldn't really be a huge deal.

As they grew older, the tug of the bond became almost impossible to ignore as Takemichi blossomed into a beautiful omega. And when his first heat hit at the age of sixteen, it was Takemichi's decision to either pick an alpha from their pack to satisfy his heat or take medicine to get through it by himself. And there were plenty of alphas to choose from; flirtatious Nahoya who spoiled Takemichi and his twin brother with sweet treats, or mysterious Sanzu with his delicate looks and musky, mouth-watering scent. Even his childhood friends Akkun and Kakucho offered to help him through his first heat.

In the end, Takemichi had decided to take the suppressants and cuddle up with his pack omegas, sleeping off his heat sandwiched tightly between Kazutora and Souya, while Mitsuya softly stroked his fluffy curls. If he couldn't spend his heats with the Alpha's he wanted, then he didn't want to spend them with anyone else.
