A New Kind Of Feeling

Chapter 3

Alex's POV:

Today's the day. The day that we go to Florida. It is currently 4:30 in the morning, which means an hour and a half till Joe and Caspar would come and pick me up. I decided to go and hop in the shower. I turned on the hot water and stepped in. As the hot water reached my skin, it relaxed all of my muscles, which was the best feeling in the world. Once I was done, I put on some sweatpants, along with a t-shirt and a hoodie. I always go to the airport comfortable. I did some last minute packing, along with packing my carry on, which included my laptop, my camera, headphones, and a book. I put all of that in my grey Jansport backpack, and brought all of my luggage downstairs. For breakfast I decided to make pancakes with bacon and eggs. I made myself some coffee and poured it into my favorite mug. All my food was ready, so I ate it and then I decided to put on my glasses instead of contacts so that I could fall asleep on the plane(you cant sleep with contacts). Which reminded me that I have to pack a bunch of contacts for the trip! I ran upstairs and into the bathroom. Just as i got into the bathroom, I heard someone open the door. "Come on Alex! we have to go!" I heard a familiar voice yell. It was Joe. "I'll take your luggage to the car!" Caspar said. I grabbed a bunch of contacts and ran downstairs. I put all of the contacts in my carry on, grabbed my phone along with its charger, and ran to the car. I stepped into the backseat, closed the door and put on my seat belt. "we're going to go pick up Zoe and Louise and then we'll head to the airport." Joe said. Zoe was my other cousin, which was Joe's sister. I haven't seen Zoe in like a month so I am very excited to see her. Louise is her best friend, and they did everything together. I know that Louise slept over Zoe's house so that the pick up would be a lot easier. When we got to Zoe's house, they were already standing outside with their luggage and everything. I got out of the car, running to Zoe and jumping into her arms. I've missed her so much. Her and I are very close. We are like best friends. We tell each other everything. Zoe kissed me on the cheek, as Caspar and Joe took the girls bags and put them into the car. I hugged Louise and started heading back to the car. I made sure that i got in first so that i won't get stuck in the middle. Zoe got stuck in the middle, and said, "WHY AM I ALWAYS IN THE MIDDLE!!!!!" we all laughed at her, as we were on our way to the airport. Once we got there, we went through all the security and stuff, and now we played the waiting game. While waiting for our flight to be called, Caspar came up to me and sat next to me. "Hey" Caspar said with a cute lil smile. "I was wondering if I could sit next to you on the plane? I really want to get to know my roommates cousin." Once again, he said it with the cutest smile on his face. "Of course! I wanna get to know my cousins roommate:)" i said with a smile on my face as well. He's honestly so sweet ugh!! "Well it's settled! Did I mention how adorable you look in sweatpants and glasses?" Caspar said. "Awe! Thank you!" I said with my cheeks turning pink. 'Flight to Orlando Florida is now boarding' as we got in the plane, I started freaking out. I was so excited to go to America, that I completely forgot about my terrible fright of flying. When we sat down, I wasn't able to breathe. I stated to freak out. I didn't know what to do. As Caspar sat down, he noticed that something was wrong. "Hey, what's wrong?" He asked curiously. "I think I'm having a panic attack. I can't breathe." I replied. Caspar grabbed my hand and moved my other hand and put it on his back. "Feel my back moving? That's my breathing pattern. Follow it." Caspar said as he squeezed my hand. I followed Caspar's breathing pattern, as air started to come back in my lungs. "Thank you Caspar. It means a lot. Not many people now how to calm me down when I'm having a panic attack." I said. "I get them too. That's how I know:)" he answered. I had a feeling that this was gonna be a calm, and relaxing flight with this amazing person next to me. I honestly didn't know if I was falling for him or not. All I know is is that I get a new kind of feeling whenever I'm with him.
