"just tell me exactly how'd you get here," so many questions in your head, raising a brow as you waited for this boy's answer. he was a bit taller than you, he had a boring hairstyle although he pulled it off with his charming looks.

people barely know i live here! they only think it's a big forest with mysterious beings, you thought, breaking eye contact with this boy, dozing off of confusion.

he chuckled at your uncertainty, jumping off the fence and walking straight up to you, leaving dirty footprints on your clean balcony floor. "the name's ten, please don't tell anyone i went here. like, anyone, even your flowers," he said, leaving you a questioned look and turning your head to a bunch of plants. "listen here, big boy, i don't even know you, you just came out of nowhere and now you're offending my plants! disgrace," you scoffed, shooting him with a glare as you assumed he was joking. "even though what you're saying is real, ben-ten, that doesn't even make any sense, they already saw you or maybe felt your presence here," you added genuinely while looking at your flowers swaying with the wind.

"you'll learn more soon," was all he could say after flashing a smile, the happiest smile you've ever seen, you fear. he turned his back at you and jumped over the fence, running away with no answers.

it was scary, to be honest. imagine being disturbed by a stranger only to leave you with thousands of questions, must be tough.

you gripped something in your hand only to find out you've been holding a necklace all this time. where did this come from?? you asked yourself, scanning the details of this strange jewelry.

"srenten entréswit.. what the hell is that?" you muttered, brushing your finger across the carved letters. you hid it on your nightstand, afraid that something scary might happen - because what just happened earlier with the boy was so suspicious, right? you can't just be careless and naive after all of that.

opening the balcony door, you stepped outside, breathing the fresh air surrounding the place. you started observing your plants, but then you noticed something odd - a lotus? you questioned yourself. you weren't sure if you should be happy, or scared, since you've never planted one before, and that also supports the fact that you couldn't plant it.

a lotus requires subtle care, it starts with dropping seeds into warm water and setting them on a sunny windowsill. That was easy, right? but no matter how you try, there was never a sprout. even after a week or two.

you ignored it and started going on with your daily life; studying plants, like how your grandmother used to do before she passed away. you sat at the chair of your desk, pulling out a book to start studying. you slightly turned your head on this one piece of white camellia plant laying at your desk.

white camellia; a flower language of adoration

"i prayed for the flower to fly there," you jumped as he spoke

"i prayed for the flower to fly there," you jumped as he spoke. that boy is here, again, you sighed internally. he has his elbows on top of the railings in your balcony, looking up at the peaceful sky - sniffing the fresh air. "were you the one who planted the lotus too?" you asked, closing your book to pay more attention to what he was gonna say.

"yeah, sorry, i never asked for permission," he said, rubbing the back of his head while finally turning his body to you. "oh - uh, it's okay, it's pretty anyway. but why did you... "fly" the camellia here?" you questioned, getting up from the seat and finally joining him in the balcony.

"i found out it symbolizes adoration, so i hoped it flew to you. and it did! i'm so happy," he flashed his brightest smile ever, and you thought it looked cute. you blushed at what he said, so you tried to look in the opposite direction so you could hide it. "adoration... does that mean you..?"

"yes," he confirmed. "oh, uh.. thank you, ten," you kindly said. you thought you were the only one blushing, but little did you know, he also blushed at his name being spoken by you. "so, can you tell me why you know my name? i mean, we've never even met before," you said, fixing two hugging flowers while waiting for his answer.

"fate told me," he smiled.

"who the hell is fate?"

"..."

"oh, you meant...fate, fate?"

he nodded and smiled, looking up at the sky again, noticing that it was sunset, he sighed as you looked up at the sky too, adoring its color. "i love sunsets, they're so pretty.." you muttered as you kept looking up the sky, ignoring the whole fate-told-me-your-name thing, but oh boy - he started staring at you the moment he realized something, you really are adorable, he thought.

"[your name], please don't lose the necklace," he said, still staring at you in awe, adoring you in every way.
