"This place is pretty." Dayeon looked around as they made it to the top of a hill. Night had already struck and the sky was filled with bright stars that glimmered.

"Pretty place for a pretty person." Chaehyun led the way along a stone path. The two shared soft chuckles, recalling the same moment they used those exact words two years ago. Except the roles were reversed.

Dayeon admired the place. The warm lights hanging across strings that stretched from wooden pole to wooden pole was enough to set a mesmerizing mood for her. Especially with Chaehyun here. In the distance, Dayeon could spot what seemed to be a fairly large gazebo which she assumed was where Chaehyun wanted to take her. Her eyes wandered around more as she followed the peach haired girl. She found a hammock tied up to two trees, a swing that could hold maybe a set of four people, and a few tables scattered around the place. She wondered if people came here often. It'd be a shame if not a lot did.

"Over here." Chaehyun brought Dayeon over to a telescope that stood just right outside the gazebo. "Take a look."

Dayeon took a peek through the telescope's lenses and her eyebrows raised in astonishment, along with a light gasp. She had never seen the stars blaze so violently but beautifully satisfying at the same time. The brunette drew back from the telescope and looked at Chaehyun, a smile tugging at her lips. The older's eyes were eager out of curiosity to hear Dayeon's thoughts about it and it warmed her heart.

"They shine just as bright as you." Dayeon slid her hands into her pockets and watched Chaehyun roll her eyes, but smile more.

"Ugh, you didn't change, did you?" Chaehyun took both sides of Dayeon's wine beanie and yanked it down, covering Dayeon's sight as she approached the gazebo.

"Oh, come on. You didn't have to do that to me." Dayeon was simply being honest. She even saw a spark in Chaehyun's eyes. She pulled her beanie off of her head and brushed her hair back with her fingers in an attempt to fix her now messy hair. She followed Chaehyun.

"You know me. I absolutely adore watching you suffer." Chaehyun sat on a bench outside the gazebo and looked up at the brunette, seeing eyes that misunderstood with the slightest hint of confusion. "I was kidding, Yeon."

Dayeon let out a sigh of relief as she sat next to the peach haired girl. Her legs naturally crossed and bounced. It was comfortably silent for a moment as they appreciated nature's beauty; they were surrounded by it.

"Did you really think I was serious?" Chaehyun blurted, grasping Dayeon's undivided attention.

"I mean," The brunette shrugged, "There's always a chance in everything, right?"

"I guess so. But anyways, I wanted to take you out to stargaze when I came back. So here we are." Chaehyun stared out into the night sky.

"Oh." Dayeon felt a ball of happiness bouncing inside of her. "When did you get back anyways?" She stared at Chaehyun's profile.

"A week ago? I think."

"And you never cared to tell me?"

"Couldn't contact you." Chaehyun responded, a bit too unbothered for Dayeon's liking.

"How come?" Dayeon's voice grew with curiosity and maybe just a bit of aggression.

"Broke my phone." Chaehyun avoided Dayeon's gaze and gulped.

Dayeon hummed in response to the older. She quietly tapped her fingers in a rhythm on the arm of the bench and took her eyes off of Chaehyun. It was like Dayeon forgot about the whole reason she came back to the dandelion field, but it only made her realize it when the two grew quiet once more.
