I couldn't fall asleep that night. I was so shaky and nervous.
Maybe he's not lying.
I wasn't sure what to think. Am I starting to actually care about him? I was confused.
But yet then again, I was sure of it that I liked him.
I guess I was the one that was jealous before. His looks, his popularity, just everything.
And... he kissed me.
Oh boy, I'm not going to get through the night.

It was Saturday, and I was going to go to the movies with my mom. I was going to go with Stacy at first, but, well, yea, you get the point.
I went to get popcorn and drinks for my mom and I.
As I was paying, I see someone in the corner of my eye, in the other line.
Josh.
I quickly walk away and go to my mom. My mom wasn't there, so she was probably in the bathroom.
Shit.
I try to stay out of Josh's sight as much as possible, but I feel a hand on my shoulder.
"Hey, you bought that for me? How sweet!" Josh said with a smirk on his face.
"Oh, whatever!" I say as I punch him with a smile on my face.
We stand there, just smiling.
"Wow, you're actually talking to me without screaming at me. I'm impressed."
I walk into the theater and the commercials are playing. I sit down and sigh. Ugh, commercials.
I see Josh walk in the theater. I try to hide my face, but he comes and sits right next to me. Unfortunately, my mom was seeing another movie, so I was just stuck there with Josh.
The movie starts playing, and nothing much really happens. At one point during the movie, Josh grabs my hand. My stomach is twisting up in knots. Finally, I pull away.
The movie plays a scary (well, not scary, but surprising) part, so I jump. Josh grabs my shoulder and puts my head on his shoulder. No wonder he gets the girls so easily.
The movie is finally over, but my mom's movie still has another 30 minutes or so. Josh and I walk outside and sit on a bench.
"Was, um, that a... date?" he asks hesitantly. I shrug.
"We really didn't plan it. Just kind of happened."
I just looked at him for a minute, and we both got up.
"See you tomorrow, I guess," I say
awkwardly."Yeah."
He was about to lean in, but he hesitated, and I walked away too soon.
Then I meet back up with my mom, who just got out of the movie. She had no idea that I was with Josh.
"How was the movie?" I ask.
"It was kind of lame," she replies.
"Mine was too. Oh well."
We leave the theaters and get back on the highway. We are near the exit, and a car starts spinning in circles. Mom immediately hits the break.
The car finally flips and rolls down the side of the road, into the grass.
"Oh my gosh!" mom screams.
We step out of our car to see who is in the car.
Wait. Is that really...?
