It didn't take me long to get out of the chair. I could've made an actual escape with the help of David, but I first need to know our location and to better contact Nolan.
..Nolan.. He must be worried sick. But he and my team didn't matter at the moment. If I didn't find a way to get out of here, they would have to deal with the war on their own- because I'll be dead.
The captain didn't give me the information semi-important to living. I didn't have his name or exactly whose side he is on or who he is working for. But progress is progress. I said I'll have to think over it and hear some of what they want me to do when I'm out of ropes and into a comfortable bed. And have food, of course.
So David untied me and two guys hauled me into another cabin door. They were a little excessive since I wasn't fighting or anything. But I guess I'm their first captive who was -acted- so nonchalant.
The room was not what I expected. Clean, bloodless walls with an upholstery bed with a bedside table on one end, and another circular window above an old desk on the other. The desk had pens, pencils, paper, and food. I automatically started organizing each into piles. Dried food, canned food, fruits, blue pens, black pens..
What started to worry me was I had little time to get lever on the situation.. Let alone know what time of day it was. No matter what kind of training, I still... Will always need information.I sat there for a good twenty minutes, organizing now the pens in color after finishing the food. I had no way of getting out of this, no information, no connection to the -
Shit.
Someone put an extra pair of clothing on my bed... Including giving me back the stuff they thought was useless... My helmet. And more importantly, my connection with Nolan.
