Kit answered the call and settled himself on his bed, wrapped up in a blanket Tommy had got him. Tommy was sat on his own bed, his vanilla candle lit beside him.
"hiya gorgeous boy." Kit greeted his boyfriend.
Tommy just forced a smile, "hi Kit."
"what's wrong?" Kittrick frowned.
"you're gonna be mad at me if I say it again." Tom mumbled, grabbing a pillow to bury his face into.
Kit sighed, "Toms if it's about you missing me, I promise I'll be home with you soon."
"it's not just that. everything feels wrong." Tommy confessed, "I'm struggling with this small period of distance between us and its stupid. I just want my boyfriend back."
"darling, soon. its only a week or so now. I'm still yours, Tommy." Kit explained, tearing up at his boyfriend's clear upset, "is that why you had a panic attack this morning."
Tommy shrugged, "I just feel like spending time apart and not talking is gonna make you want me less."

"okay." Tommy whispered, his head resting against his headboard. "can i fall asleep on call tonight?"
