Mikayla's POV:
I slowly walked up the steps to the DWMA, an academy that my older brother told me to go to before he was killed by his meister who tortured him. I looked up to see that the academy looked quite...er... Exotic... There was an interesting skull-like symbol in different parts of the academy. I kind of liked it! Maybe that was why this uniform had the same thing. The uniform was black and white, and also symmetrical...weird yet satisfying.
I heard loud footsteps that made a slight squeaking sound against the ground. How come I recognized it? The footsteps sounded like those of a pair of Converse. My head turned a bit and I saw what I expected.
"Rhiannon!!" I squealed. My best friend was here too!?
"Mikayla!!" She called back, running up to me and tackling me in a big hug.
"Why are you here? Are you a weapon or a meister or did you just find me or d-" Rhiannon cut me off in the midst of laughing.
"I'm a new meister here. You forgot that I told you! You were probably too zoned out from your fangirling." She gave a teasing smirk while I just stuck out my tongue.
Soon I pushed her off with a thump before standing to help her up. "You hug too hard." I said, returning the teasing smirk she gave a few seconds ago while she smiled brightly and accepted the help up. I tugged her to her feet and mentioned, "I'm a weapon, so it may work out!"
"Woah woah woah! Let's meet some people first!" She yelled with the sassy finger in front of her. Oh no, not the sassy finger! I couldn't resist.
"Alright~ maybe we'll find some cute guys or something~ but if we don't then we have eachother, ok?"
"Ok!"
And so, we put our arms around each other like the best of friends would do, and we walked inside. A tall man with a black cloak stood in front of us with the same skull symbol on his face. A reaper maybe? Or... Could he be the principle? Anyways, I wondered why he stood in front of us so politely, and Rhiannon probably wondered the same. Who is this guy..?
