Ch. 4: What if

Third person POV:
  After a very long time of walking, Rhiannon sighed and flopped on the ground. "What time is it? I'm pretty sure the old man principle didn't tell us we should take all night to reach our destination. We got-" "Yea. We gotta find somewhere to sleep safely." Soul said while helping Rhiannon back up after her dramatic fall (XD). Mikayla nodded with a small yawn, catching Kid's guard off "...probably. Let's start heading off again to look for somewhere to sleep." He said in a more serious voice.

  He adjusted his golden orbs down to the tired girl and sighed with a smile, picking her up on his back "There ya go, Mikayla. I don't want you passing out on the cold ground while we're walking." He said in a soft, yet cheerful voice. Mikayla blushed and gripped to his shoulders  "um.. Ok.. J-just don't drop me!"
  Soul laughed a bit and looked at Rhiannon "well while the love birds are having their moment, are you starting to get tired too? I don't mind helping you out." He asked with his normal careless and stoic expression. Rhiannon's face reddened and she immediately yelled "no no no no I don't need to be picked up!!!!!" Soul sighed and picked her up bridal style "Geez.. Your legs probably hurt anyways. Just let me get ya to wherever we're sleeping and I'll put you down." He said while smiling a bit. Rhiannon simply blinked a few times and nodded.
  About 10 minutes passed before Death the Kid found a lockable door cracked open into a small room with dim lights. "Looks creepy, but it'll do." The boys said in sync. Kid looked at his back to see that Mikayla had fallen asleep, drooling a bit on his uniform "Dammit Mikayla..!" He whispered angrily before setting her down on a slightly dusted up blanket with a squishy pouch of who knows what. Then Kid took off his uniform coat, laying it over Mikayla's upper body before sitting next to her. Soul grinned at Kid, making the symmetrical idiot blush while he sat Rhiannon down in some sort of chair-ish thing. (Don't know what it is but it isn't an actual chair) "Thanks Soul." Rhiannon said happily before relaxing back into the object. Soul nodded as a your welcome and flicked Kid's nose "now sleep before I assume you're doing perverted things to the poor girl." "Speak for yourself" Kid said with a smirk. Soul shook his head and returned the smirk before sitting and leaning against the wall inside. Kid closed and locked the door, shutting off the light by a little click chain before laying plopping down in one of the corners and falling asleep.

About 3 am, Soul's POV:
  I opened my eyes to see it was still pitch black outside 'should we get up?' I thought. I shook my head. Why now when the girls are still probably tired. Especially Rhiannon...
  I blushed a bit and smacked myself from the thought. But, I silently stood up and went over to kneel beside the girl. "Her neck.." I whispered. Her position was sitting up so her head practically fell on her shoulder. I slowly moved her body forward, which allowed her head to rest back so her neck wouldn't strain. "There..." I said, gazing at her mouth, opening slightly with her slow and steady breaths.
  Sighing, I smiled a bit and gave a quick peck on her cheek. Then she smiled. That made me assume she was awake, so I quickly shuffled back to my spot and pretended to sleep 'man... This'll be hard. Especially with her girlfriend and the symmetrical bozo.' I thought while running a hand through my hair. If I did do more stuff like that, how would they react? I should wait a bit though.. 'Just one day and I'm in love? Yea..I better wait.' And so, with a quick look back at Rhiannon, I smiled softly and fell asleep.
