Molly woke up. This time without anything hitting her. She looked around the room. And noticed her owner laying on the couch. For once in her life she felt safe in this place. She started to lick the blood that was on her leg from what had happened the previous night. Molly limped into the kitchen. She looked around for something to drink. She only saw one cup on the table. She jumped up there very quiet. And started drinking. It felt good to finally have some water inside of her. Her leg gave out on her and she fell hard on the ground. Her owner woke up with a startle. All Molly could make out was "bad girl, No" Molly tried to make a run for it. No such luck. Her leg was too beat up. He slid off his belt and whacked her for what seemed like forever. Molly whinnied the first few times. But then she had to take it like a dog.
