Tyler pov...

It was the best car ride of my life. Knowing Layla was happy to except both of us as her mates. So much so that she acted actually like it was a great concern to her.

We'd always been unsure. Twin are rare enough, twins with mates even more unlikely. There was plenty of stories but not much on how a female mate reacted. from what I'd researched.

She was too perfect. My brother agreed to the dinner out i mind linked him. Somewhere nice for our future Luna. I couldn't believe we found her. I played with her with the loose strand of hair on on her fourhead as she slept. She slept a lot. Like she was catching up on a lifetime of sleepless nights. It was a good thing though. Boosting her body to heel. I took in her battered face, I want to to kill everyone who'd ever landed an un-kind hand on her. I knew Lucian felt the same. I was quite shocked he'd only killed one person when we found her. His ruthlessness was renowned.

I heard him through the mind link. He'd been listening to my thoughts. You'd think I'd mind but when you can do it right back it doesn't make much sense to.

We finally where coming to the last large city before our pack. We agreed to stay the night. Even if we could go home tonight. We'd driven straight through lunch as our mate slept. Layla woke up when we rode over a speed bump into a parking complex.

Now in the city. Got up I had to let her go as she stretched sitting up. Wiping the sleep from her face.

She looked around taking in where we where. We got out of the car she followed. Like a good mate. Letting me take her hand as Lucian walked just behind her slightly on the other side. Walking over to the elevator I pushed the button. When Lucian slipped his arm round her. The doors pinged open. A couple of people already stood in there. They looked slightly oddly at us. Lucian moved so he had Layla in front of us with our backs to them. Layla stood Infront of us on the decent.

The floor was busy. We where in one those fancy establishments. Lucian bought the building a few years back to fund the pack. It was a human apartment complex.

We stepped out onto shiny marble floor.

Laylas pov....

I was still half asleep when we got into that dark building. I realized it was a car park once we had driven around a little while. I'd never been in a car park like this before. We got out and I followed them but it was impossible not. I felt like they hearded me between them.

I was shocked at the people inside. As they regarded how I was touching two men at once. It made me want to pull away from my mates. But my body didn't react. Luckily Lucian moved. My body automatically moving along with my mates.

I could believe how much better I felt. The relief of knowing I wasn't going to lose one of them. No wonder I slept so heavily in the car

The elevator went ping my mates stepped us out. Quicker them I could take it all in. The shiny marble floor looked like a water shimmering in the sunlight. There where people all rushing about. I'd never seen this many humans at once before.

Lucian walked Infront now like he owned the place. A small balding man rushed over with a clip board and tie. His glasses slipping down his nose as I noticed he looked nervous sweating.

"Mr Lucian. We weren't excepting you. How long will you be staying?" He rushed along beside Lucian not looking at me or Tyler.

"Just the night Wilson. How's business?" Lucian asked. His voice much colder and stern.

"Good sir. Very good sir." The man gushed opening a private lift with a key.

"Anything I can do for you? Get your luggage?" He suggested.
