Dolores' thumb moved gently as more tears tears fell. "Mi Luna, I've already been burned.... Por favor, let's heal together"
'Together?... no... no no' Y/n clenched her jaw, eyes closing as she slowly stepped back. "Dolores, you aren't supposed to feel the same, this is wrong... it's not what was written for you, your future is with Mariano" Dolores shook her head stepping forward, when Y/n stepped back in turn she stopped. Hand raised as she reached forward.
"Mariano wasn't there to listen to me when it became too much... he didn't sit with me for hours playing a tune that was so soft it even sounded quiet to me." Dolores stepped forward slowly, her hand out as she reached for Y/n. Her hand came to rest on Y/n's cheek. Honey eyes locked with Y/n's and Dolores smiled. "He used to make my heart beat a tune I wasn't familiar with.... But it's not the same as when I'm with you"
"Mi sol por favor... I'm doing this for you..." Dolores stepped forward, closer to Y/n as she choked back a sob. "When I'm with you my heart beats a tune I'm so familiar with, like fate sealed it in a lifetime of repeats till we came to this very moment." Dolores spoke quietly as she slowly wrapped her arms around Y/n, her arms soothing for a moment before Y/n pulled back. "No.... No" she shook her head as she distanced herself from Dolores. "You said it yourself.... Your future is Mariano"

The days continued on, passing slowly as la casa Madrigal was rebuilt, the foundation was set, and final preparations and details were being made. Y/n still continued to help, although she kept herself distanced from Dolores, dancing along the outskirts of her honey gaze, busying herself with building.
Two weeks before the final preparations for the house were made Y/n found herself next to Camilo, while everyone had exited for a lunch Julieta had prepared. It was quiet between the two before Y/n finally spoke up hesitantly.
"Camilo.... How - How are you doing?" Camilo hummed quietly as he swept the dusted debris from the floor, his hazel eyes glancing up for only a moment before he looked back down to the ground.
"I'm doing good" Y/n nodded to herself as she lifted another butterfly shaped brick square. "Are you excited?" Camilo nodded as he reached for a dustpan. The silence was filled with bricks on brick as Y/n carefully stacked the stone on the counter for the next people to place later that day.
Camilo finally sighed standing up straight as he broke the silence."You know... you should just tell her, get it off your chest at least" Y/n stopped moving at Camilo's words and swallowed thickly. "What... what do you mean?" Camilo stared at Y/n, hazel eyes scanning her features as she slowly placed another brick on the counter top.
"My gift required me to be very observant, to be able to mimic people, their voice, their looks, but it doesn't take all that for me to know that my hermana is so much more than you're letting on." Y/n clenched her jaw, eyes shifting as she struggled to hold Camilo's gaze.
"She's just mi amiga Camilo." The strained smile she gave him caused him to roll his eyes.
"Listen to yourself Camilo, that's crazy talk...." Camilo scuffed and dropped the dustpan onto the ground with an echoing slap and clangs of metal on cement. He didn't dare move his gaze as he scanned over Y/n's posture; she tensed and turned her attention to the dustpan and slowly falling debris.
"I know a relationship is supposed to be between a man and a woman..." Camilo added his hands tightened on the broom in his hands.
"But she's tearing herself apart and losing all the progress she made in becoming herself because of some stupid vision she got when she was seven" Camilo sighed and looked around, before running a hand through his hair, his eyes drifting to the dustpan he threw on the floor.
