"Hey Uglybeth, we got you a new boyfriend."
A girl from behind laughed. Annabeth turned to face Tina, the popular girl in her mortal school. She was pointing at a nerdy guy with freckles all over his face.
Annabeth wanted to break her neck, but all she said was,
"I said I already have a boyfriend."
Tina giggled in disbelief.
"Annabeth!"
A familiar voice shouted from down the hall. Annabeth spun around with a smile on her face. Percy walked over.
"Oh, and who might be this dashing hottie here?"
Tina said flirtatiously.
Percy kissed Annabeth on the lips before replying,
"Her boyfriend. Now get lost before I kill you for bullying my girlfriend. And believe me, I've killed much tougher people then idiot cheerleaders."
Tina never made fun of Annabeth again.
