Chapter 10: Mate?

"How much longer will she sleep, docktor?" A deep voice bombed a bit muffeld. Like he was standing outside a room and I was inside it. My whole body was aching and somewhat burning.

"I am sorry Beta but we do not know, But i can't be much longer now. She's been out for three days and many of the other women are starting to wake up. I am sure that she will wake up soon as well." I think I was the doctor that said that, it wasn't that warming voice that talked before. A door opened and footsteps came closer to me.

A body sat down beside my bed, the warmth of him making me feel hot. Not hot like sexy but hot like a boilingcathel. A hand stroke over my head sending shivers through my whole body. This feels right like I am at home.

"My sweet mate, I hope you wake up, I have just found you and I am not ready to let you go." His voice was full of love. After that everything go black again.

"How much longer dok?" the same voice that belonged to the body that sat beside my bed said. Once again muffle by a door.

"Not much longer I promise." Another voice said, footsteps walking away could be heard as well as a door opening and closing.

"Please I beg of you to wake up! You have been this way for three weeks and I don't even know your name. Wake up!" A drop of water landed on my hand and I could feel a big hand on my cheek. Is this person crying? Over me? The touch of his hand made sparks spread thru my cheek and my whole body levitated into him, without me moving it. Was this how mates were supposed to feel? What about Hase? Wasn't he my mate? But who was this person then, and why did he make me feel this way? I need to wake up. I tried to open my eyes, but my eyelids were heavy. I tried to open my mouth to say something but the only thing that came out was a moan. I could feel the warmth from the body beside me turn all his attention to me.

I tried to speak again, no luck, then I tried to open my eyes again, yet no luck. The body beside me rose up from his seat and ran out the door yelling.

"Ners, NERS, she's waking up" Within seconds a whole team was attending to me, talking too fast for me to catch what they were saying.

The only thing I knew was that a minute later my eyes opened and I looked around in the white and light blue hospital room. The ners-team had left the room, and the person that I think sat beside the men the whole time I was in this hospital was left with me alone.

"Hi" he said and breathed out like he had held his breath a whole century.

"Hi" I looked at him, trying to piece my memories together.

"You are awake" he said fidgeting with the white cheats that were on my bed.

"It appears so, and why did you call us mates?" He looked confused over my question.

"Well, Mate is a shortening for the word soulmate, A soul....." I cut him of

"I know what a mate is, But why did you call me YOUR mate?" He looked more confused than he did before.

"Well we are, don't you feel the way your skin tingles as soon as we touch?" he looked at me worried.

"Yes I do, but I already have a mate in my pack '' I blurted out, it is the truth! A growl came from his throat, I could tell he was angry. But I also knew that he wouldn't hurt me.

"What do you mean you already have a mate" Hi spited out the word mate like it was venom.

"Well my wolf calms down when I am with the next alpha in line in my pack, and she calls him my mate, but my skin does not tingle. But it does when I am with you, and my wolf also calms down without.... Apparently" I looked at him through my eyelashes. "Also the both of you makes my heart skip a beat, and draws me in with your cent's" He looked as confused as i feelt.

"Are you telling me that you have another mate?" the handsome guy said.

"Yes sir"

How could this be? How could one have more than one mate at the same time? My beautifull mate that layd in a come for three weeks had just woken up and she just had dropp this bomb? What happens now? Do we talk to that other guy? Just thinking about this made my wolf take control and rip his throat out. Well she does not smell like she is marked. That something at least.

"Beta someone is by the border, saying they are from the Black Sweet River pack, The pack that's north of the sweet river"

"I need to go beautiful, but I'm coming back.... Soon, But i need one thing from you. What is your name?" I needed to know her name. She is my mate and I am going to get her one way or another.

"Quinn '' her name left her kids-friendly lips and it was beautiful.
