With the moonlight filtering through the window, Hermione sat at the window, admiring the beauty of the moonlight on her face. In her mind, she replayed the scene where Voldemort died like a stereo. She had a feeling that this hadn't ended, not when there are still Bellatrix Lestrange out there. While she missed her parents, she hoped she made the right decision, knowing they were safer away from the wizarding world. She stepped off of the window sill and moved to her bed, where she laid down.

It took Hermione quite a while for her to find a comfortable position to fall asleep on her bed. Upon closing her eyes, the boy with platinum hair appeared. Draco Malfoy, her childhood crush, the person she could not get out of her head, her heart, and her soul. As she thought about the future, she wondered how it would be different after the second war. Would it be different after her final year at Hogwarts? It seemed that she was suddenly filled with a lot of questions. She had always been worried about too much, but never to this extent. Her breathing became heavy, rushed, in and out, as she lost her breath. "How are you doing? Look at me, breathe in, breathe out." Ginny approached. Slowly, she gestured for Hermione to catch her breath.

"We're all worried. Is there something you want to share?" Ginny asked worriedly when she saw her catching her breath slowly. With a sigh, she shook her head and hoped that it would all turn out well. " I think I will go for a walk." She put on her slippers and cloak. "Would you like me to go with you?" Ginny suggested, as she worried about her being all alone despite declining her offer. "Be careful." She reminded her as she watched her leaving the room.

As she walked down the stairs, she saw him standing outside Great Hall with his "girl" and two of his friends. Her first step was to stand aside and see if they were leaving. They stayed there for just a few minutes before she walked straight down out of nowhere without a second thought. "Hello, Granger." As she walked past him, she heard him call after her as she tried to avoid being noticed. As he wrapped his arms around Pansy, she looked at him. "Are you going somewhere?" He asked and checked her out from head to toe. "That's none of your business." She snapped, picking up her pace and moving away from them. "Have you got an attitude, Granger? Is that how you treat the person who saved you?" He smirked, and Pansy stared at him with jealousy in her eyes. Keeping her mouth shut, she stepped back in annoyance and fear. "Filthy little mudblood. He is dead, but that doesn't mean we always remember how we were raised." Draco snarled. The shameful words he said about her attracted the attention of other students who were hanging around outside the Great Hall.

"Hermione, are you okay?" Teddy Boom came up to Hermione. Taking a few more steps away from Draco, she stepped back. Outside the Grand Hall, a crowd began to gather. Even though it appeared that the crowd was defending her, she had no interest in the argument, especially after all that had happened. It was all she wanted to do to leave and mind her own business. "Death eater Malfoy, you're nothing more than a scum." Hearing someone yell, Hermione was alerted. Seeing Terry push the silver-haired boy, causing him to fall, she felt the need to step in even if he insulted her first. "What did you just call me? Do you know who I am?" She recognized whose voice belonged to, he would do everything to defend himself. Why wouldn't he?

While she remained where she was, she knew that he was capable of standing up for his trio. "Don't intervene, Hermione." she told herself, as she watched from behind. "What a loser, confringo!" Ernie Mcmillian exclaimed. "Protego." Pansy repelled the spell and protected them. "Alarte ascendare." Draco threw one of the boys up in the air and tossed it about. "Sectumsempra." Having no idea who cast what spell, Hermione rushed toward the crowd before realizing what had already been done.

"Immobulus!" She stepped in front of Draco and his friends facing the crowd, casting a freezing spell stopping them from moving. Pansy's eyes were filled with tears as she turned around to see her holding Draco on the ground. "Do something!" She shouted at Crabbe and Goyle, who were panicking as they looked at Draco, who had deep cuts on his chest and blood on his shirt. Hermione squatted down and checked on Draco. She was about to cast a healing spell when Pansy stopped her, "I know you muggles, don't you dare try to hurt him. I won't hesitate to kill you if you lay a finger on him."
