Paul's New Pokemon.

"But-"

"If you say it, I'll get the cookie."

"No!"

"Max, leave Paul alone."

The fact that Ash sided with Paul got Max to be quiet. Paul paused as Ash smiled at him.

"Paul, don't you want another pokemon to join Eevee and Turtwig?" He glanced at the duo as they glanced up at him.

"I-I guess?"

"Then come on." He finally stood up, shakily, and let Ash guide him to the nearby forest. Max frowned before Qidorr spoke.

"Easy little guy. Paul's delicate. While we all did lose someone close, he went through something different. He also has darkness clouding him. We have to be the light. So you need to be nice."

"I am. I just latch onto the bad." Mlm couldn't sit still as he ran after the duo.

Paul trembled behind a tree. Apparently him and Ash were not doing great as Paul had gotten bit (Paul did warn him about the different aura. Who do you think won?) Mlm touched his shoulder as he paused.

"Yeah?"

Mlm pointed to the side where two Pokemon, Clefairy and Ralts, were watching the practical Yin and Yang. Paul solved the simple gesture before slowly going over. Ash seemed to wave at them, but they didn't take notice before Paul sent out Eevee.

"Go." It stretched a little before racing forward with a Tackle. Clefairy got hit while Ralts stood behind the tree with a face of confusion (Several memes went through author's head at this time). He sent the two pokeballs before catching them. Mlm grinned before Ash paused.

"Hey..." Mlm made a sound that alerted them before vanishing. The duo were silent before Paul spoke.

"He did it."

"Oh great."

They giggled as Paul gently cared for the four pokemon. While his aura was violent, it was easy to get a smile. Especially when Ralts needed help eating.

"Slow down..." It whined a little while Ash draped a blanket over him. The other three had fallen asleep and the others were winding down for the night. Ralts eventually finished and joined the other three while the siblings fell asleep for the night.
