I woke up to the smell of pancakes, eggs, and sausage. I stretched and walked to the bathroom after pulling Brennan's over-sized shirt over my head. I wash my face and brush my teeth before I comb my sex hair out. I walk towards the kitchen and see who I didn't expect to.

Niall.

"Niall, what are you doing here?" "Well, I came back because I forgot my jacket and when I came up the elevator, your boyfriend was just leaving." He gritted his teeth when he said boyfriend.

Oh. Why would he leave?

"When did you get in here?" "Just about an hour ago. I decided to make breakfast since I'm hungry and I thought you would be too." He smiled shyly, sliding our food onto 2 plates.

"Here you go." Sliding the plate to me, his smile doesn't change. I give him a polite smile and get the forks. I give one to him and keep the other for myself. Before I start eating I go to my room, telling him I have to do something quickly.

I have nothing to do, but it's a little awkward with him right now. You could've cut through the air with a knife, that's how much tension there was. I look at my bedside table and the necklace is still there, but there's a note underneath it now.

I walk over and pick the box up. I get the note then put the box back down. I open it up, seeing it had my name on it.

Sara,

You are the most beautiful girl I have ever met and the best girlfriend I've ever had. But, I can't seem to be with you anymore. You are just too good for me. I am glad we lasted as long as we did, but I think it would be better if we would just be friends. Nothing more. You are going to be going on your tour soon and I don't wanna hold you back. I want to let you live your dream, and don't worry about me. I'll be alright.

I will always love you,

Brennan.

I close the letter and sigh. I let the few tears fall and suck it back up. He left his shirt and the beautiful necklace.

He left his shirt because he was probably in a rush to get the hell out.

I glared at nothing and walked back towards the kitchen. Niall was almost finished with his food when I started eating mine. I almost finished before him because of how hungry I was.

"Merry Christmas." I smiled at him as he said the same in reply. "Well, today we're going to New York right?" I ask him. "Yeah. We leave in about 3 hours. It's 11:14 right now." He says, looking at the microwave time. "What are we taking" "The jet." "Okay, just come pick me up when we have to leave." "Alright, I'll . . . Uhm, see you later . . . ?" he grabs his once forgotten jacket and walks out the door.

I go onto the couch and get my phone from the coffee table where it was charging. I call up a maid service and tell them to please hurry up and come to my apartment.

They get here in less than 10 minutes and I ask them if they can clean my apartment. It's not dirty, I just don't want to leave it slightly dirty and then come home and it be a clutter after I drop my stuff in the living room.

After they finish cleaning my room, I go and pack up the things for New York for about 3 days. I know I will end up just buying some extra outfits there so I put my items and clothes in a big suitcase. There is extra space in it so that when I come back home everything won't be squished and packed tightly together.

I put it in the living room and get a separate all black Coach backpack. I put in my laptop, charger for my phone and laptop, my toothbrush and toothpaste, my brush, Chapstick, and headphones, and, last, my iPod.
