The second indominus

5. Raptors

Alpha POV.
As I watch the sun go down I think of all the humans leaving the island. Thanks to the pterosaurs most of them are leaving. In their place however are humans better equipped for hunting me and Indy. My plan is to get them before they get us. By the time the sky turns black I'm back into the forest and find Indy laying on the ground. I decide I'll let her rest while I keep watch. This is going to be a long night.

A while later

As I sit on the ground near Indy I hear something. It's only distant at first but it's getting closer. Humans. I sniff the air to find out how many. There's to many for me to count but what catch's my attention is 4 different smells. I wake Indy.
"What?" Indy asks clearly unhappy at being woken.
"We've got company." I say.
Indy sighs and we both stand. The cars are close now and I can hear them slowing down. They know where here. I can hear voices. Both human and others similar to my and Indy's language. I look to Indy who has noticed this as well. We both walk out of the trees and approach the humans but are also faced with 3 small dinosaurs looking up at us.
"They're big." says the one closest to us who appears to have a blue scar like marking on her sides.
I lower myself down placing my hands on the ground for support.
"Hello." I say calmly and politely.
This catch's them by surprise.
"I don't mean to be rude but what are you?" I ask.
"Ah. We're raptors." says the blue one, "What are you?"
"I am an Indominus Rex." I say back, "My name is Alpha and behind my is Indy."
"Hello." says Indy.
The raptors say hi back. "My name is Delta." says a green raptor. "I'm Charlie." says a clearly playful raptor with dark green stripes on her back. "I'm Echo." says the more brown raptor. "And I'm Blue." says the Blue striped raptor.
"Nice to meet you." I say.
"Nice to meet you to." says Blue.
I look up to the humans.
"Are you with them?" I ask.
"Yeah." says Delta.
"Are they giving you anything for doing this?" I ask.
"Ah no." says Blue suspiciously.
"If you help us you can have free roam of mine and Indy's territory." I say.
"Really?" asks Blue.
"Of course." says Indy.
"Does that make you our alpha?" Blue asks.
"Only if you want it to." I say.
"Well we do. So. What do you want us to do?"
"Help us kill the humans."
They all nod in agreement and with that I stand on my back legs again. The 4 raptors turn to face the humans which clearly agitates them. One of the humans yells something and the air is filled with bullets. The raptors and Indy run in all directions but I just stand there. Bullets do nothing to me. A rocket is fired at my head. As it connects I feel the side of my face heat up. With that I roar and charge at them. They all scatter except for the 3 unlucky humans on the roof of the car that I flip with ease. As I turn back round I realise they've already vanished into the bush. That is until I hear the screams of the ones the raptors got. I walk around looking for any humans to kill. I can see Charlie looking at the human in a brown vest. I can also see a human raising a gun towards her. I roar catching their attention. I run at the human with the gun and bite down on him. I look over to Charlie. The brown vest human is gone and Charlie walks over to me. I nod to her and walk on. I can see the humans driving away and the 4 raptors and Indy walk up beside me.
"Get them." I say and the 4 raptors chase after them.
While they do that I'll go to the park. This should be fun.
