~Scenario 1~
Like every good student, you took notes during lectures. It was just the logical thing to do since, really, your English teacher was a stickler for it. That and they provided aid in future assignments. Of course, not everyone took notes. That is made apparent to you feel something nudge you in the shoulder. You turn and see [love interest] sitting behind you, holding a pencil. It's pretty clear that they were the one who nudged you. "I need to borrow your notes."
My, my, look what we have here. Do you give them your notes or do you leave them to bullshit their way through future assignments?
~Scenario 2~
Taking notes suck. It's slow and repetitive and you just hate doing it. Today was no different as you sat in the back of the class, damn near about to fall asleep to your teacher's monotone lecture. Though as luck would have it, the teacher calls on you to answer a question. "The answer should be in your notes." That bastard was taunting you and as you stutter and stare for a moment, you catch a glimpse of [love interest] turning their notebook toward you with their pencil pointed to the correct answer. You answer and the teacher goes back to teaching with [love interest] going back to taking notes.
Well, that was a shit show. Now what? Do you ask [love interest] for the notes or do you ask them why they decided to help you, of all people?
