Hey Wattpad! As you probably guessed this is going to be about two men falling in love during the civil war. If you have a problem with men falling in love, I don't know what to tell you. I want to start out with saying that this is not going to fetishize gay relationships. It's going to be a loving, intimate story between two men. There shall be no abuse or hate coming from them. But as it's the 19th century and homosexuality clearly wasn't allowed, not to mention slavery and racism being a thing. There is going to be stuff that deal with that. There will be some themes and mentions of physical abuse but it won't be a scene in and of itself. That's just how things were back then, sadly. Also there won't be any slur language at all.
There is going to be sex scenes but it won't be overly graphic. Like I said, no fetishizing.
I'll try to make this as realistic as possible to the era but if you find anything inaccurate please comment. Also I'm delicate so if you have any qualms with my story please make it productive.
