The Vampire in the Woods

Ok so this is the first story ive posted on here so dont be too cruel, i just hope at least some of you like it.

I decided to take a walk in the woods tonight.......and it may have been the worst...... or best idea I've ever had. You see, I met the strangest person out there. But the thing is, he isn't human, he's a vampire. And when I say vampire, I don't mean the stupid, hopeless, sparkly one's you'd read about in Twilight, or hear about in a some stupid teenage girls fantasies. I mean VAMPIRE, as in their faces morph every time they vamp out, burn like they're in hell in the sunlight. It was amazing and terrifying all at once, I'll never forget it, and I hope I will see him again.

***(flashback)***

It was late in the day and it was getting close to night. I hadn't done anything today except lounge around the house and watch TV.

I was starting to get really bored when the idea hit me, I'll go out for a walk. So I got up off the couch, turned off the TV and put on my jacket. I put on my shoes, and grabbed my phone and headphones and walked out the door. I walked around the back of the house and down to the road behind our house.

As I walked down the road, I put my headphones in and hit shuffle on my playlist. I sang to myself and bobbed my head back and forth all the way to the end of the road. When I reached the intersection I stopped, trying to decide which way to go. I looked straight ahead of me, to my left, and to my right. If I go straight, eventually I would come to the more populated part of Robin County, I decided that wasn't such a good idea for me right now. If I go left I would just hit a dead end and have to turn around and come back sooner. And if I go right I would eventually reach the forest. I thought a moment and looked right, why the hell not I've got nothing better to do.

It took me a few minutes to get there, but I finally reached the tree line to the forest. As I went further the trees got thicker and thicker until I was completely surrounded. Seeing as it was still daylight there were squirrels everywhere and they scattered when I walked by. I looked ahead of me and saw that there was a small path and I headed towards it. I followed it and looked down as I walked to make sure I didn't trip over anything that may have fallen onto the path.

I got my phone out of my pocket and put it on Do it Now, Remember it Later by Sleeping with Sirens. I put it back in my pocket and started singing out loud under the assumption that I was alone out here, and walked off the path aimlessly.

After a while I got the feeling that I was being followed and for some reason it wasn't really bothering me, but I was looking around me in curiosity expecting something or someone to jump out of the trees in front of me. All of a sudden about 30ft away I saw something standing in a clearing though I couldn't tell what It was. So i turned off my music and I slowly walked towards it and when I got about 20ft away it looked like the silhouette of a man. I stopped and yelled, "HELLO!?" and he seemed to turn around, like he wasn't facing me before. I walked a little closer and in the snap of a finger he was standing directly in front of me and I ran into his chest and gasped. Before I fell backwards from the force, he caught me by the arms. "Whoa, be careful there, you wouldn't want fall would you?" he said. I stepped back far enough to actually get a good look at him. He was wearing dark grey skinny jeans, skater shoes, a grey t-shirt and a leather jacket. He was tall and he had some scruff on his face. The white's of his eyes were blood red and you could see the veins under his eyes. His nose and forehead were slightly morphed and he had fangs. I gasped at the sight of him, out of fear of realizing what he was and how gorgeous he was, maybe in a sort of demonic way, but still gorgeous. He must have sensed my fear because his face morphed and he looked like a normal human being.
