There I was in the doctors office Monday waiting for the results. They doctor comes in and didn't look to happy.
"Hi buddy we have some news"
He said in a really gentle voice
"OK and?"
" that bump on your leg is cancer and it's a very serious case. We will do our best but it mean taking off your leg."
I didn't say anything, my world had just crashed . Everything I had felt like I had lost it .the doctor shook my hand and walked I out. When I got our of the office I called Mia right away.
"Hey babe, how did the apointment go?
she said in her cute little voice
"I have cancer and its spreading fast"
i said crying.
she started crying and asked were i was at and within five minutes she was by my side. she hops out of the car and jumps into my arms and we both cry our eyes out. she tells me its going to be all right but i dont think it will. They are givng me taking my leg offi will never be able to play sports again. i didnt tell anyone but i got a full scholarship to Duke university and now its all gone, everything.
