Lucifer - "Normal"

This was just my vent story with Lucifer being soft/gentle with MC and comforting them. I apologize if you relate to anything and I hope your all safe and cozy, Enjoy <3

Lucifer was sitting at his desk working on whatever paper work Diavolo gave him for R.A.D. He was very focused on his work that he didn't even hear you scream at Mammon. Down stairs was you being like a mother/father/parent figure or even an older sister/brother/sibling towards them. Screaming at Mammon to not touch the food you were preparing all cause Beel asked him to get him some,"I SAID NO- GO WAIT AT THE TABLE BRAT." Mammon laughed and just ran to the table. You on the other hand, sighed in tiredness. Lucifer asked if you would help around the place, by choice, so he can get more work done...the more work he got done, the more rest he could get which he deserves so...of course you accepted.

As you put down the plates of food on the table, extra for Beel so the others can eat in peace, you sighed,"I'll be back, no fighting until I'm back." Right when you turned you could hear Mammon and Levi at it. You chose to pretend you didn't hear it and went to Lucifers room. Knocking softly you heard a sigh,"Come in," Lucifer was tired you could hear it. Walking inside you smile at him,"Hey, dinner is ready. Did you want to eat it with me in here or at the table? I can also heat it up later if you need me to." You walk over to him and gently hug him behind his chair resting your head on his shoulder. He softly smiles as he places his gloved hand onto yours gently,"I will join you...I believe I can spare some time for today...only today. I need to get these done still." You look at the papers and pick up the one he was working on,"Hmm...I can help if you like...I can always heat my dinner up as well I don't mind," he hummed as you put the paper down. Lucifer slowly stood,"No no, I will get it done. I will eat some dinner with you all...it can be my thank you for taking care of my brothers as I get more work done," he softly pet your head smiling softly,"Thank you for your amazing work as well, Y/N." With that he walked towards the kitchen leaving you a blushing mess in his room.

Walking inside the kitchen after collecting yourself, you find everyone getting along and talking, even eating dinner nicely. You smiled and took your seat and began eating when Asmo made a remark,"Say...you and Lucifer are kind of like a married couple already! Hehe~" You choke on your food as Lucifer widen his eyes for a second and yelled at Asmo,"Asmodeus! Let them eat! They help me by making sure you all don't burn down the house while I work! Plus their test scores are higher than all of yours!" Everyone looked at Mammon as he looked away from the situation. Levi sighed,"Probably because they can easily go to Lord Diavolo about stuff?" Satan nodded,"They do get help from Barbatos even, though...I never see it."

"Me neither," said Belphie,"then again I rarely see Lord Diavolo anyway...mmm..." He mumbled as he fell asleep on the table. Beel nodded along. Lucifer sighed finishing his food as you laughed,"I don't ask for help much guys, I am only human to so-"

"YEAH! THAT'S WHAT I FIND COOL-!" Mammon exclaimed. You laugh at his comment and finish your food,"Thank you Mammon. If you guys ever need help with your tests you may ask," you got up as all the brothers watched you carefully. Stopping near the door, your back facing them,"Though, I stay up really late every-night studying and keeping you guys in line ever since I came here," you turn to them and smile,"that's normal though, huh?" You laugh as you walk off to Lucifers room. Lucifer blinked and softly whispered,"Y/N...," he got up,"I want all of you to study and work harder from now on. Quit giving Y/N a hard time." Mammon crossed his arms,"We don't give 'em that hard of a time." Satan sighed,"As much as I hate saying this, but I agree, Mammon actually gives them a hard ti-"

"OI QUIT IT!" Mammon yelled. They started arguing and Lucifer hit the table loudly and began to yell at them all. You, sitting at Lucifers desk working on paperwork for him, flinched when you heard the loud bang. Sighing seeing the pen mark of a messy line as result,"I wish he would just not do that sometimes." You didn't mind him and all but his rough attitude sometimes scared you, having a past full of men that all traumatized you, and then randomly waking up in a weird room full of them, didn't help. Though, you got through it and now you love them all like your own family. Especially when your blood family didn't accept you so when they bullied Mammon too much, you'd snap at them. Though you hate being snappy towards them, you had no choice sometimes.

As you were deep in thought, you heard the door open, causing you to flinch. You look up and see Lucifer shutting the door gently,"Are you alright Y/N? I gave them a lecture to be easier on you I apologize for being late. Are-" You smile,"I am fine! I did most of the paperwork," you put the pen down. He walked over slowly and looked at the paper that you were working on and saw a messy line you made when he slammed his hand on the table,"Hmm...Y/N...are you sure you are alright?" He asked in a worried tone. You look up at him as he slowly squatted to be eye to eye at you. Sighing, knowing you wouldn't be able to keep anything from him, you began to open yourself,"In the past, a lot of men in my life gave me trama, ruined my life, and/or even well- yeah...I developed a fear for men and well- I know it's not your faults or anything but I just...-" Lucifer slowly took your hand into his and gave a gentle look, a look you never saw until now. You look into his eyes feeling your fear begin to drown into a comfort,"I know you are not worried about all of us doing such things toward you but, I promise to protect you and always treat you as my fragile gem. A gem that is rough yet fragile...I promise to keep you safe...I will take care of you as you do so for me, which I greatly appreciate." You sat there mot realizing that your eyes were watering as he lastly stated,"Forever and always, you and only you, I promise with my life." He kisses your hand and saw your tears fall down your rose blossoming cheeks. He gently and slowly wiped them as you cried in his palm, leaning into his ungloved warmth. He gently held you and picked you up and placed you onto his bed and got up. You grabbed his hand tightly,"Stay-" He smiled and picked you up,"Of course Y/N." He walked to your room and got your comfy clothes and walked back to his room making sure his brothers were alright, stopping by their rooms one by one and asking if you were alright,"They are perfectly safe with me, yes." He would say each time. The words repeated in your head, happy to hear them finally once in your life...you felt safe with him.

Lucifer gently put you down on his bed and wiped your tears softly,"I will be outside the door alright? You can change into comfortable clo-"

"No, stay in the room- please." He widen his eyes slightly and chuckled,"Of course, i'll just turn away then." He stood up and did as said. You got changed into your comfy clothes and put your R.A.D uniform onto one of his chairs and hugged him from behind,"Thank you Luci..." He was slightly shocked you called him by his old nick name but, he hummed at it, enjoying when you and you only called him as such. He turned to face you and pat your head softly,"Ready to rest Y/N?" You nod tiredly as you and him laid down into his bed, pulling you close to him gently. You closed your eyes and softly whispered,"Thank you, Luci..." as you fell asleep you heard a soft,"Thank you, Y/N...for being my one and only in my life...forever..."
