It was 7pm on Friday and me and Martin were running to the school, as fast as we could. We spent the rest of the day after school playing Mario Kart Online. Martin always wins while I almost win, before falling back to last.
We made it to the bus, to see the last person step in. Just before the doors close, me and Martin leap in.
"Oh you made it." The bus driver said, smiling. She was a nice lady, she even starts up friendly conversations to those who she sees are lonely.
"Hey Miss Gabi." Me and Martin panted, before standing up. Just as we did though...
"Hey, Martin!/Yo Martin!/What's up Martin!" Everyone on the bus greeted us. Specifically Martin.

See Martin's one of the popular guys, mostly because of his polite, expressive, funny, and weird attitude. We met in freshmen year and became friends before his popularity sky rocketed.
Funny thing though, people don't even pay attention to me. Like I'm just some face some guy in the background.

As me and Martin head back to sit down, Martin kept getting high fives and fist bumps. Heck, a few girls were asking if he was free this weekend.

I sat down, waiting for Martin to sit down and wait for the bus to go. I just can't wait to go to Stark Industries in the big city.
I just want to get this field trip started!
"You really need to calm down." A voice said beside me. I turn towards her and say, "I can't! Tony Stark is my idol! We get to see his presentation on the Iron Man project! How could you not be excited!?"
She looked back with an amused look, "Because I'm not a nerd."
