I woke up in a way better mood than I had yesterday. I was actually excited to go to class. It's such a different feeling to study what you want and enjoy learning rather than high school where you're forced to learn things that never come up in the real world.

I had an hour to get ready and drive to campus, which gives me some extra time. I wasn't in the mood to do my makeup and the campus was only a 5 minute drive, this would give me time to eat a proper breakfast.

I always find myself skipping breakfast which is apparently a pretty unhealthy thing to do, but I never have an appetite in the mornings.

I got out of bed and went straight to my bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. I decided to put on some falsies since I had some extra time anyways. I just brushed my hair and decided to leave it that way.

Finding clothes to wear for the day was always unnecessarily difficult for me.

I went with a pair of mom jeans and a simple brown crop top. I paired it with my Air forces that had a brown check on them. This was me putting in effort.

When I looked at the time it was 9:45 which meant I had 15 minutes to get to my class. So I grabbed my bag and a banana and headed down to my car. Ariya wasn't in the living room so I guess she was still sleeping.

It didn't take me too long to reach campus and get to my class, which was partly empty when I arrived because I was there a little early. There was maybe 20 people and, of course, my professor at her desk.

I took the extra time as a chance to check my phone. I saw that I had a few missed calls from my mom and a text from her.

Hey sweetie, sorry to bother, you must be busy. I just miss you and was wondering when you're going to come back down to visit :) Bye now I love you lots.

Reading this made my heart sink. I completely forgot how lonely it must be for her with my brother in college and now me. I texted her back and noticed more and more people filing into the room.

i miss you too mom! and i will come visit this weekend, i promise. i miss you so much!

By the time I was finished texting, the room had become full. I put my phone in my bag and grabbed my journal. I turned back around to face the front of the class and noticed Milo heading towards me with his journals in his hand.

I smiled as he took a seat next to me. "Hi Nicole, you look amazing today by the way."

I couldn't help but blush, no matter how many times I've seen him he gets more and more handsome each time. "Thank you, you don't look too bad yourself." I grinned.

He opened his mouth to reply but got interrupted by Professor Mariana. "Good morning class, we are moving at a steady pace in our curriculum and I'm hoping this can continue as we get into the more rigorous lessons that are coming up next week." You could hear a few whispers through out the silent room and a lot of people who looked like they did not want to be here.

-

Class usually seems to go by fast but this time it just felt like hours. Plus having Milo next to me was a huge distraction, but when it was finally over I could not wait to go and get some lunch, I was starving.

"Was it just me or was this lesson super boring." Milo voiced my exact thoughts as we walked out of the classroom.

"It definitely wasn't just you, it might be weird but I'm actually excited about what's to come in the following weeks."

"No I don't think that's weird at all. I feel the same. Psychology is super interesting to me, I actually enjoy learning about it." Milo smiled.

"Well some of the students in there seem absolutely petrified." I laughed.

"Yeah, Professor Mariana is pretty intense. They should probably transfer out while they have the chance." He returned.

We were now outside and the warmth of the sun felt so nice on my tanned skin. I didn't want to go back indoors. "The sun feels so nice today." I stated.

"I'm more a fan of the cold if I'm honest." Milo shrugged.

"What!?" I exclaimed. "I hate the cold."

"How could you hate the cold?" He questioned high pitched in surprise.

"I mean not all the time, but It's a little annoying when you always have stuff to do. I like the cold when I don't have errands to run, if that makes sense."

Milo nodded at me. "Understandable. Do you want to go get some lunch?"

"Yeah sure. Where too?"

"Well, there's this sandwich place just a few blocks down if you like sandwiches." He smiled.

"That sounds perfect honestly, lead the way." I said with a grin.

"I'd rather you lead the way." He looked me up and down with a hunger in his eyes.

"Just shout the directions out at me from behind then?" I exclaimed sarcastically.

"Come on dork." He put an arm around me and led us there.

-

The place was super cute and had little booths. A young waitress who had her eyes feasted on Milo came to our assistance. "What can I get for you both." She didn't even bother looking at me.

"Um, I'll get a classic ham sandwich with a water." Milo smiled.

"I'll get the turkey one. With a water also. Thank you." I forced a smile.

"I'll be right back with that." She looked back at Milo with flirty eyes as she made her way to the back.

What a bitch.

"She looks like she wants to rip your clothes off and suck you off right here on the table." I said monotonously.

He glared his eyes at me, a devious glint to them.

"Jealous?"

I couldn't help but be taken aback by his statement, even if the act had made me a little jealous, I didn't want to admit it.

"Not even." I scoffed.

"It doesn't matter what she thinks because you look so amazing today I'm debating on slamming you on this table and making a meal out of you instead."

I choked on my own spit, and felt warmness rush onto my cheeks.

As I opened my mouth to reply the waitress came back and sat down our food and drinks. "Enjoy." She smiled devishly at Milo and left us alone to eat.

Bitch I will cut you.
