France, a large European nation with a diverse population, has a rich and fascinating history, including figures such as Napoleon Bonaparte, Louis XIV, and Marie Antoinette. Though in the late 1700's it experienced a slow economic and demographic recovery in the first decades following the death of Louis XIV in 1715.

The French Revolution of 1789 was a key turning point in the history of France and indeed a good portion of Europe as well. Hastened by Enlightenment philosophies, the revolution put an end to the feudal system as well as France's absolute monarchy and changed the country's entire political landscape.

Some people disagreed with the "Revolutionary conflict" they are facing right now, which made Joanne start to feel pissed about. "Why can't these people just agree? Don't they want France to be rich, smart, and wealthy again?" Joanne thought to herself

"These idiots.." Joanne muttered while walking out of the dirty crowds she was in with

Joanne's mother is famous- well, well-known activist near the Notre Dame Cathedral, and her name is Rosé Allaire. She always packs her things such as books, papers, ink, and a small dirty carpet and goes there, shouting facts onto people's faces without having the fear of getting attacked or hurt by them.

Joanne and her mother lived in a small cottage near a cemetery. Her mother and her can't afford and of course, are restricted from having a decent house to live in.

It was heartbreaking seeing France get split up into fragments of different opinions. They're supposed to be one, working together and helping each other as they make things out. This is a Revolutionary, not a war.

Every day, Joanne and her mother had always been looking out for ways to make France work together again. They know they're nothing against them, but they've got to try.

Later that evening Joanne was helping her mother write ways and facts to make changes on their political landscapes and justice. It was exhausting enough for her to drift off to sleep.

Rosé soon came out of her room and saw her daughter asleep while sitting on a chair with a pile of books and an empty quill. Rosé smiles widely and lets out a small chuckle not wanting her daughter to be awake. She loves Joanne more than anything, even more than the country she is fighting for right now.

"Bonne nuit, ma chérie" Rosé says as she leaves Joanne's room with a smile plastered on her face.

Morning cames. The sunlight beam shooted right into Joanne's eyes which made Joanne groans. She scratch her neck and started to stand up and walk towards her mother's room.

"Mom.." Joanne said as she slowly opens the door, "Hey.. I'm sorry for" her voice got cut off, nobody was in there.

Joanne started to panic as her forehead began to sweat hard, dripping down to her chin. Her legs are weak. Joanne looked to her right, there was a paper sticking onto the mirror that says,

"If you see this, that means that I'm gone. I'm so sorry amour, I didn't mean to leave you here alone but, I just want you to know that you're really brave. You can get through this time easily without me Jo, remember that I'm always here. I'll always be on your side and I'll always look out for you. I will always support you and love you endlessly. I already make you a little breakfast, and all of my ingredients for that cookie you've always loved being in my wardrobe. I'm once again sorry for leaving you like this."

- Your mother, Rosé Allaire

Joanne kneeled on her knees. She's shocked, angry, confused, and hurt that she didn't even have the time to cry. She walks slowly towards the dining room and saw her favorite cookies, beans and bread served on a plate with a note sticking onto the table, it was a smiley face.
