Chapter-3: A fun nightout!

Assalamualaikum/Hi dearies...sorry to upset you guys by not updating for so long. I was a Lil busy with school & stuff. My apologies for the delay.

Alina's pov
As soon as I reached the venue in my car. I stepped out to find the dhol going on producing loud music and people trying to do some sort of traditional dances and all! Ushna spotted me in the crowd from the middle of the stage and motioned me to come there. I went and congratulated her sister, Umna. After hugging her and talking with her. We started teasing her. After half an hour the groom's side and the groom himself came. We moved down from the stage and told her to be calm and not to panic. Usama, the groom came and sat beside her. As soon as he sat, He whispered in her ear 'Mashallah too gorgeous to handle' and kept a hand on his heart. She blushed and said 'Thank you, you're also not looking bad though'.
We and some others on the groom's side near the stage who heard this exchange of words started giggling.
And they started teasing their names. 'Usama Bhai, bhabhi ko dekhte hi Duniya bhool gaye kya?!' -someone said.
'Me Duniya dekh ke Teri bhabhi ko dekh Raha hu beta! Utni achi thodi hai jitni ye hai!'-Usama said.
'Yooooooooo'-we all shouted and some guys blew a whistle.
The ring ceremony began when the elders came and said: 'Chalo bas karo flirt karna baki masti shadi mai kar lena!'
The rings were brought on the stage by the groom's mother. Usama took Umna's right hand and slid the ring given by his mother onto her ring finger. She blushed while looking at him. *hootings*. And then he placed his hand on her forwarded palm and she took the ring given by his mother (actually by her mother) and slid it on his ring finger. Just then he took her hand and kissed it. *hootings*. Then the slow music started. And he led her to the middle of the stage and they started dancing 'the couple dance' together. Dinner was served, so we (I and ushna) rushed towards the buffet as 'the bhookkads' we get called sometimes. We took half of the appetizers and half of the main dish to fill our plate and a bowl of Gulab Jamun's! After eating, to say we were full was an understanding, we couldn't walk properly with our heels on! I stumbled a bit on a fallen spoon trying to regain my balance as in the main hall, some quiz questions were being asked and I was going there. To my rescue, someone placed a hand on my lower back and supported me to stand. I looked up only to find those mesmerizing brown orbs again!
'Hey, Alina! Are you okay?! You're here on who's side, in my senses, you're not from the groom's side nor the bride's. so from whose side did you come?!'
I keep on staring for a few seconds and looked away
'Hi, Almer! Yeah. I'm good, thank you. I came from the bride's side, Umna is my bestie ushna's sister. So she invited me. And what about you?!'
'I came from the groom's side. I'm Usama's favorite uncle's son. I mean he is my cousin.'
Just then I got to see Sahi bro, whose arms were entangled with a lady...
'There he is with a..... Unknown lady?!'-I was stopped in my tracks when I saw him with a lady.
Almer then asks me- 'You don't know that lady?! She's his childhood sweetheart. Sara khan. My fiancée's bestie.'
'Oh, no... I didn't know her until now. Maybe I might have seen her in the past.'
'Hmm..'- Almer says as he looks lost deep in his thoughts.
As I was about to tell Almer that I am moving to the main hall where the quiz is being held. I saw Ushna calling me to join the photoshoot on the stage.
'Ok, then. Almer, I have to go there on stage. Ushna is calling me for some pics. Why don't you come?!'
'Ok, then. If you're calling me with so much love. I'll have to come.'- Almer (trying to flirt!)
'Ahh...I didn't call you with love. I was just saying it in a normal way.'
'Nah, the way you said was too lovely!'
'No way! You got me wrong.'
Then we walked on the stage.
'Nah, I didn't.'-he says on the way, Smiling.
We took many photos with the bride & groom. And looked at the outcome! I mean at the photos. In one pic, Mine and Almer's gazes were interlocked. Then again I found him looking at me. He is so enchanting! While wondering about him, I looked at him and smiled. He also returned the smile and went somewhere. Seeing this Ushna asked me with raised eyebrows and narrowed eyes while mouthing 'What's going on in between you two?!' I just shrugged and mouthed her 'nothing'. As I came down the stage with Ushna, she began introducing me to her sister's colleague and close friend, Sara Khan. Along with her, I got to meet Uzma Shebaz, Her best friend and Almer's fiancée. Then spent some quality time with Ushna and her family. And then gave my goodbyes and was heading to my car when I heard someone calling me. As I turned around, I saw Almer walking towards me, 'Hey, Alina! Are you going home?!'
'Hi, Almer. Yeah, of course. At this hour, where do you think I'll go?!'- I (sarcasm dripping off my voice.)
'I thought you would go to a pub or your boyfriend's house maybe!'- he (exaggerating about a pub.)
'Nah, I'm good single!'
'Well, you're?! Surprising. Anyways can you do me a favor? '- he asked scratching the back of his head in such a cute way that I couldn't refuse.
'Yeah, what's it?'
'Can you drop me at my office? Actually, I left my car there and came with Sahil and now...he's not to be seen anywhere.'
'Alright. I can drive you there. Hop on!'
We sat in my car. I was on my seat and he sat in the passenger's. We talked about his and Sahi's office. I wanted to ask about his fiancée, Uzma but decided against it. He asked 'Why are you single?!'
'I love to be single and it's haram to be in a relation out of wedlock, right?!'
'Hmm...' He nodded in understanding.
Upon reaching he stepped down the car and came to my window.
'Thank you very much, Sweetie. It was good riding with you. Have a good night and Allahafiz.'- he said giving a 😉 and giving his 1000$ smile.
'Ahm... You're welcome. Good night to you too and Allahafiz.'- I said returning with a small smile.
While nodding my head up and down. And then waving bye. He also waved goodbye as he turned around to go. I sped off to my home sighing dreamily. And rushing my car into the driveway and inside the garage. Entered my house and quickly went upstairs to my room. Kept my keys on the dresser and undressed quickly going for a shower. Grabbed a pair of comfy pj's. Wore it and dozed off...to sleep. The last thing I saw before I slept was the large crescent moon shining brightly as ever out of my window.

To dream about my created fantasies about my future hubby!
