( zahan's pov )
Ahmed uncle had asked for me to get an appointment with our famous orthopaedic since getting his appointment can be a real task as u have to appoint way before to get called and I was the one who could make it quick for him...but the request turned to real excitement when appointment was taken by the name zubaida ali zaya's ammie..i was waiting to meet her again and as I thought she was there..
though I had to pull a small action to get her privately...
As I stood before her, my intention was simply to propose marriage. But her swift and emphatic refusal caught me off guard, sparking a fire of anger within me. For the first time in my life, I had been met with a 'no' - and it stung. My pride wounded, I lashed out, resorting to blackmail and exploiting her deepest vulnerabilities. It was a cruel move, driven by a hurt ego and desire to make her mine
My heart sank when she started crying, her tears revealing the depth of my blow to her weakness. But I had no choice. She had to be mine, by hook or crook...That was final.
The memory of her piercing eyes welling up with tears flashed before me, an exciting reminder of our last encounter. I straightened my back collecting my thoughts as I gazed out at the road ahead. The sign reading "Faizabad" came into view, and I breathed a sigh of relief, knowing that my destination is not far..The miles seemed to tick by slowly, my mind preoccupied with the prospect of reuniting with the one who had left an indelible mark on my heart.
Everything is unfolding as I had intended. Even Mehna, who was initially opposed to my pursuit of Zaya, has come around to seeing things my way. At first, she was adamant that she would never consent to our union, but I, Zahan Khan, am not one to be deterred. I am confident in my ability to bend circumstances to my will, and I expect others to acquiesce to my desires and i did succeed
When I first revealed my intention to marry her cousin, Mehna's expression transformed from confusion to delight. However, I soon discovered that her enthusiasm was misplaced. She had assumed I was referring to her other cousin, someone I had never met. But when I clarified that my interest lay with Zaya, her happiness rapidly dissipated. Her face contorted in anger and frustration as she scolded me for even considering pursuing her beloved cousin. It was evident that she held Zaya in high esteem and was fiercely protective of her, her outburst revealing the depth of their bond
I managed to placate Mehna by expressing my genuine interest in zaya and highlighting the benefits of marrying me over her cousin. I astutely pointed out that Zaya was eager to escape the arranged marriage, and that her admission to HRS was a clear indication of her desires. I also enlisted Adhil's support, using his influence to further persuade Mehna. Eventually, my tactics succeeded, and she came around to seeing things from my perspective. In the end, I got what I wanted even though it was by manipulating her none of the promises I made to her had air..iam really is head over heels for her cousin and I will give her a better life than any living human on this planet...
I broke the news to my parents, and they were taken aback, as if struck by lightning. My mother was overjoyed, already envisioning a grand celebration and hastily making donations in her excitement. However, my father was taken aback as he was aware that Zaya was soon to be engaged to Rishan. Nevertheless, I persuaded them with sincerity, emphasizing that this was the only girl who had truly captured my interest and that I might never find another like her. My mother, fearful of me remaining unmarried, skillfully balanced her enthusiasm with gentle persuasion, eventually winning my father..
My GPS indicated that I had reached my destination. As I gazed at the house before me, A cold breeze swept through me, carrying the unmistakable feeling that Zaya was inside.
