MingMei P.O.V. I fell face first on the bed from exhaustion but still confused. "If he knew where they were, why didn't he tell me about it?" She was close to tearing up when she heard a knock at the door. "MingMei? Are you there? Can we talk?" She took a deep breath and opened the door. "Hey....... I know you saw my phone earlier. That's the reason why you ran upstairs earlier isn't it." MingMei stood quiet but Daejung could tell that she was upset. "Listen, I wasn't trying to hide it from you, I promise. I just haven't had the time to tell you about it." MingMei's face softened as she let him explain. "When did you find out?" She asked trying to fit the pieces. "Today Actually, instead of going to work I went to look for them so I can surprise you tomorrow." "What! Really?! But why?"
Daejung started to laugh which confused me. 'Did I say something funny?' "You won't understand even if I tell you. Just consider this as a favor." I was still confused but thankful that he did this for me and he that he wasn't mad at me for checking his phone. "Thanks Daejung, sorry I got upset earlier." "It's ok, I understood. Soooo....want to go see them?" "Right now?!" He nodded "Really?!" "Yeah!" "Then let's go!"
Author P.O.V. MingMei was so excited she wouldn't stop jumping. Daejung drove her to the rescue center where her parents were. When she got there she could feel the tension in the air, the mixed feelings of sadness, anger, and fear. It was no wonder though, she was standing next to the guy who was know to have blew up the whole city of Guiyang!
MingMei P.O.V. We walked up to the receptionist to ask where my parents were staying, she nodded and started typing in panic mode. I didn't want to laugh at her because at how funny she looked so I looked away, wandering my eyes through the building. Soon my eyes spotted a garden with to men fighting and a woman trying to stop what seemed like her husband. My eyes squint as I started to recognize their faces. "Mom?! Dad?!" End of P.O.V
Daejung turned around to find MingMei running towards the garden. He ran after her. MingMei swung the garden gates open and ran towards them. "DAD!" Mr.Zhou stopped yelling when he recognized the voice. He turned around and saw that it was really her! He blinked in disbelief and looked to his wife for conformation while she was just shock and almost in tears.
"MingMei?! Is that you!?" Mrs.Zhou asked since her husband was too speechless to utter a word. "Yes! Yes, it's me!" She hugged them. "I missed you so much, I almost thought you were gone!" "I thought the same thing! But thankfully Daejung found you!" "Daejung? Who is he?" "Oh! I got hired as a maid recently and so he's my boss." MingMei pointed towards him in a distance to which their faces turn from alert to worried. She was confused 'Didn't they know about him?' She looked at Daejung which sent signals for him to come. He was hesitant at first but went anyway. That's when everyone in the garden backed away and started whispering. Guy 1: "Isn't he the man who blew up Guiyang?!" Guy 2: "Why is he here? Is he not satisfied till we're dead?!" Daejung walked up slowly and waved a little still leaving my parents in shock. "HE is your boss?!" MingMei nodded. "His dad is who I work for!"
MingMei was amazed at the coincidence but Daejung didn't seem to have a reaction nor did my dad look to happy but he seemed to scared to say anything. As MingMei was trying to find a way to break the awkward silence she noticed the man that her Dad was arguing with slowly walking away.
"Oh! By the way Dad! Why were you fighting with him earlier?" She said as she pointed to the fleeing man. Mr.Zhou turned to the man to see the situation, than his confused, slow burned expression turned into rage as he and the man darted out of the building yelling. Still haven't been answered MingMei turned to her mom to fill her in.
"Oh, it's just some work related stuff ." Mrs. Zhou says trying to brush it off. "Work related? What do you mean? What happened?" She sighed " Your genius Dad left an unknown man to look after his office while he stayed with me but it turned out to not be such a bright idea. The guy tried to steal information for his own company!" "Oh.......... Will he be alright?" "I'm sure, He was an athlete in high school you know? This should be nothing for him." Mrs. Zhou smiles with a little pride in her statement.
MingMei nodded and spent the rest of the afternoon having fruit and talking about what happened during the disaster while I was gone.
Daejung P.O.V. It was almost as if I wasn't there as they were talking but i liked it that way. It would have been awkward for them, trying to have a conversation with the man responsible for their separation. As they talked i can see Mr. Zhou return from back with a man tied to him. Practically dragging the man, Mr. Zhou pulls out his phone and dials a number. By his clear expression of irritation and annoyance show it it won't be a good talk. After about 10 mins, he walks our way with the man dragging behind him.
Author P.O.V. Mr. Zhou walked up to the trying hard not to seem angry and sighed. "Welp, guess who probably got himself into big trouble." "Oh No, honey what happened? Did you try talking to your boss?" "I explained to him that everything was an honest mistake and that I'd try my best to return everything stolen but he suggested that we meet in person to talk about the issue." "So, does that mean you have to go back to Korea?" MingMei said sadly, she just got back together with them so she didn't want them to leave. "Surprisingly, Mr.Wang said that him and his wife came close by to Guangzhou for a short vacation. So for now we can still see each other but eventually I'm going to have to go back, it is where I work."
"I understand" MingMei said slightly disappointed but being pulled into her Father's embrace made her feel better. "So when is the meeting?" She said pushing from the hug. "Tomorrow, this is the address." "Why did he give my house address?" Everyone turned to what the sudden deep voice spoke. "Is that where you live?" Daejung nodded. MingMei memorized it. "I mind as well drive you both over there today cause they are going to visit me tomorrow." Daejung said with his usual unbothered expression. MingMei nodded and looked at her parents for there second approval but they were still a little astonished at how they forgot he was there for a second. . . . . . . . . . . .

They arrived at the big mansion, Daejung offered them a room and we went to our separate rooms.
MingMei P.O.V.
I went into my room feeling relieved and grateful but something bothered me from the beginning. Like WHY did Daejung save me? It couldn't have just been because he needed someone to keep up the house. And his friends and family are so nice! Do they not know he was the cause of the disaster? And why is he so nice to ME and helped me find my parents?
These thoughts weighed on my mind from time to time but I decided to ignore it and be thankful that I'm lucky enough to still be alive! "Should I ask him?" I said to myself aloud in deep thought. Suddenly I heard a knock at the door and got up to open it.
Author P.O.V
"Daejung!? I- I mean Mr.Wang! What is the matter?" "I just came to tell about dinner..." "Oh! Right! My apologies, I forgot. I'll go cook right no-" "No, I was going to ask if you wanted to join us. I already cooked. Your parents are down stairs right now." "YOU know how to cook?!" "Yes? Did you think I NEED you to take care of me?" "What!? Of course not! I was just surprised, a little bit." She said the last part in a low tone, cause Daejung to chuckle at her response. "Come on, Let's go eat!"
We ate together with my parents and went to sleep. The next day, I woke up early as usual and cooked breakfast, I decided to cook pancakes, eggs and sausages when soon I heard Daejung rushing down stairs, I was assuming we was going to work early this time.
"Mr. Wang! I have just finished cooking breakfast, I can pack some of it so you can eat it later."
Daejung nodded and I quickly the pancakes, sausages and eggs in a lunch bag and he grabbed the bag and left. Soon my parents came down stairs and we had breakfast together.
