Terrified

Chapter 7 "But what I want to know is what you see."

The past week has been a normal one. As usual MingMei woke up, cooked breakfast, cleaned and polish the house, cook lunch, tend to the garden, and prepared dinner.

She had lots of time to think but no matter what came to her mind, it all ended up with 'How did I get here? My life has change in just a month but yet I still don't clearly know how it happened.'

MingMei and Daejung still kept there distance from each other if necessary. And just as planned, they fought...........A lot.

When MingMei would cook chicken, Daejung would say he wanted steak. When Daejung would ask for help, MinMei would ignore him. They fought so much that they for a minute forgot it was all a joke. But all that mattered was that it was working. Mr. and Mrs. Wang got so irritated that they started going crazy themselves. So they decided to cool it down a little with the fighting because besides that they got along pretty well.

It was a normal afternoon when the door rang unexpectedly. Mr. Wang and Daejung was out at work and MingMei and Mrs. Wang was working in the garden so the two ladies was confused when they heard the door bell rang. MingMei volunteered to go answer the door.

"Hello, is this the Wang's residents home?" A large scruffy man along with what seemed like his companion stood at the door.

"Um yes? Is their something you need." MingMei asked still confused as to who they were.

"Is that so." Was all the man replied with before he signaled his men to grab her.

"Hey! What are you doing!" She yelled as two men held her down.

"Check the house for any other residents!" The large man yelled ignoring MingMei.

MingMei squirmed around and nearly almost bit one of the men if it was for his quick dodge for her teeth. As the first man held her down, the second man forced a cloth over her face quickly knocking her out.

~Time Skip~ MingMei P.O.V

I slowly opened my eyes while instantly feeling pain all over my body, my hands and legs mainly. I found myself not being able not move. Still not clearly understanding on what is going, I pulled apart my hands with great force but still failed to move my body.

"I think she's wake, hurry, go tell the boss."

Whispering? It was so low, i was barely able to tell.

There was a bright light shining above me serving as a spotlight in the darkened room, seemingly for me. While trying to adjust my eyes to the light, I tried to remember what was happening. And then it hit me.

The dark room, the rope holding me still, the soft whispers. I was kidnapped. But what about Mrs. Wang? Did they do something to her?

My thoughts were cut off when I noticed a figure emerging from the darkness. It was a man completely covered in tattoos with a scrawny looking figure. He smelled like cigarettes which made my nose scrunch from the strong smell I absolutely hated. After a long stare at me, his face cracked a small, sly smirk giving me the chills.

"Well, well, well, looks like you finally decided to wake up. I haven't seen you in a long while. You don't remember me, do you."

I looked up at him with a fierce expression, not wanting to deal with his useless chitter chatter.

"What do you want with me?"

"You'll know soon." He chuckled out maliciously.

Ugh. This sucked. Kidnapped again. Sooner than I expected, another man emerged from the darkness. He walked towards me very slowly, almost hesitant but eventually was visible to see. He looked familiar to me but I couldn't put my finger on it.

"MingMei, It's been awhile."

"Why do you all know my name?"

"Don't you remember us or have you really buried us away from your memory?"

What? What is he talking about? Was I supposed to know him? I looked up at the man in front of me observing closely to force myself to remember. And then it hit me.

"D-Dad?"

Daejung P.O.V

I was stressed. I knew this would happen. This is why we moved to Beijing in the first place! But they still managed to find me.

I looked around the messy house in rage. There was chairs, clothes, broken glass,and paperwork all over the ground and scrapes in the walls and floors.

It was clear they was looking for something, most likely me. I had my men to go and try to find clues or tracks where the intruders could have gone with my Mom and MingMei but It has been two hours and I'm getting impatient.

"How long is this going to take!?" I yelled angrily at the hackers.

"Sir, we're trying but their security is to strong!"

"Well, then keep trying! I don't care how long it takes."

"Hyung, you need to calm down. Getting mad isn't going to do anything." Minjoon layed a palm on my shoulder trying to calm me down.

"Daejung!" Yeonjin yelled grabbing my attention.

"What is it!?"

"He called me just now!" He pushes the phone towards me to which I immediately grabbed.

"I thought we had a deal!" I yelled at the phone furiously.

"I warned you, Daejung. If you disobey our arrangement than it costs your family and even your life. If you want your mom safe and sound then you better do as you are being told! The longer you take the least likely I can guarantee that she'll be okay."

"What about the maid that was working here? You didn't mention anything about her."

"That because she's not part of the deal. She's going to stay with me."

"WHAT?! How is that a fair trade? If I do your dirty work than I should regain all my possessions back!"

"You can always find someone else and replace her. She's not that important right, Daejung?" With that he hung up.

"Chin-Hwa, That bastard!"

I groaned annoyingly and decided to take matters in my own hands.

I called for the car to be loaded, grabbed my equipment and got my best fighting men. I'm not going to follow orders from some selfish, cruel bastard like him and let him control my life like some puppet.
