Mega Man Eclipse 3

Prologue

Welcome to the third installment of the Mega Man Eclipse series! Around this time, Season 8 of My Little Pony had recently ended and I was locked in and put all my effort towards completing this story quickly. Mega Man 11 had also released and I had also completed three of the Mega Man Zero games. I also decided to change the names of the bosses to resemble that of the mavericks from the Mega Man X series, since I was really into them at the time and since this timeline is an alternate universe of that series. Anyways, hope you enjoy this third installment!

It has been a year since the evil Enertron named Virenne attempted to take over Equestria. A former head officer in the Enertron organization, Virenne betrayed her partner Athena and attempted to take over the world with the other commanding officers of her organization the Maverick Investigators. But she was not successful thanks to the efforts of Athena's creation, Ragammia. The new Mega Man and his siblings then destroyed Virenne and their officers, bringing temporary peace between the humans and Enertrons. But a month later, Athena discovered another world called planet Equis and attempted to make relations with the monarch, Princess Celestia. However, Virenne who was still alive managed to manipulate their relations using Athena's prototype Mega Man, Corona, tricking the two worlds to go to war with each other. Thankfully Ragammia, his siblings Velga, Vuro, and Yoshone, along with his new friend Gaia managed to expose Virenne's intentions and destroyed both her and Corona, deleting Virenne's data from cyberspace forever. Both sides are now at peace, happy to be living in a world involving the creatures of Equis and Earth. But their have also been many drawbacks to these wars...Athena retired from the maverick investigators and continued with a peaceful lifestyle with her colleague, Dr. Creis, while being replaced with Dimitri, a navigator and hacker, Tyrad, a proud warlord and quick thinker, and Dr. Mateo, a technopath and a famous human known by those who remember the previous Mega Man. Ragammia has also used the break to create his own squad of Equis investigators to take under his authority. While these new heroes help fill the void of Athena's absence, Athena herself has been busy helping Dr. Creis with his ideas. Unfortunately, most of his major ideas have been rejected by the government while many of Athena's have been accepted. Luckily, Athena is trying to put good in his name by linking his credit to a cure for the maverick virus, a virus that turns Enertrons into ruthless beings. Until then, the rest of the future remains undecided, probably for the best...
