Chapter 20: Living Like a Breezie

An hour later after Mateo had done all he could to try and fix Ragammia's body, he finally got out of his lab to tell everyone the news.
"Is he okay?" Said Gaia.
"Don't worry, Ragammia is back to normal!" He said, as the rest of the base cheered in response.
"He's coming out right now." Ragammia then walked out of the room as if nothing had happened.
"Does anyone remember what happened after I touched Dorakaru's DNA? Is the mission done?" He Said. Everyone else seemed hesitant to come up with an answer.
"What's wrong?"
"You got corrupted by it and I had to beat you up to expel it from you." Said Demon.
"What?! Did I hurt any of you?!" Said Ragammia.
"Unfortunately. You hurt everyone in the field except the Young Six." Said Dimitri.
"It wasn't your fault." Ragammia then felt terrified by what he had done.
"I...I'm sorry...I didn't mean to hurt any of you..." Said Ragammia, starting to sob.
"I think you need a break from your investigating business." Said Gaia.
"Yes. I need to refresh my mind and stop thinking about what I didn't exactly do." Said Ragammia.
"Where are the Young Six?"
"They left knowing that Demon defeated you." Said Gaia.
"That's good...we should also tell the world leaders about what happened." Said Ragammia.
"Maybe we should leave out the part where I tried to destroy everyone..."
"'Maybe?' I think we definitely should." Said Gaia, as the two teleported away.

"...and Corona is dead once again." Said Ragammia in his pony disguise with Gaia as they were chatting Princess Celestia and Luna.
"The Young Six got back to their school safely, so it's good to know that they were barely hurt." Said Celestia.
"Luna, I have something to ask." Said Ragammia.
"What is it?" She Said.
"Just asking...how did you cope with what you did as Nightmare Moon?" Luna flinched at the question before sighing.
"Well...I had to show my face at Nightmare Night to make sure ponies didn't fear me, I went through therapy for an entire year, I drank a potion to give myself bad dreams because I couldn't forgive myself, and then...then things seemed peaceful until I was corrupted during the Enertron war...the only thing I'm repeating is group therapy with Celestia." She Said.
"Uh..." Said Ragammia.
"Yeah, you might not want to go down that path." Gaia Whispered.
"But thank you for informing us of what happened. We appreciate it." Said Luna.
"And thank you once again for protecting our world." Said Celestia.
"Uh..." Was all Ragammia could say.
"And Gaia...don't you think it might be time for you to reveal to Ragammia what you really are?"
"Oh...right. I was going to do that now anyways." She Said.
"Come with me, Ragammia." Ragammia then followed the sorceress into her room. After a few minutes, Gaia just sat there with a silent expression until she ordered a few guards to watch the door as it was closed.
"Um...Gaia, I know we Enertrons were designed with a, um...similar body structure and systems as humans, but..."
"No, it's not that!" She Yelled.
"It's this." a bunch of magic then surrounded the mare until she began to shrink. Two antennae then grew out of Gaia's head while her horn shrunk and vanished from her head and her wings split in half and became long and thin like that of a dragonfly until she was the size of a ladybug. Strangely, her glasses had shrunk with her as well.
"This is what I really look like." she seemingly whispered as Ragammmia got closer to her. Her voice sounded higher than it had a few seconds ago. It took a moment for Ragammia to find his voice.
"You look...beautiful." He Said.
"Really? Because although that's true, you don't think I look...puny?" She Said.
"No, of course not! Ponies and people should see that you're just as strong as a breezie than you are as a pony or fairy!" Said Ragammia.
"So...what's your real story?" Gaia smiled at the fact that Ragammia had accepted her.
"Well...here it goes. I was born as a breezie with my two parents, Neptune and Pluto. I was raised in the Breezie tradition to journey to the big world and collect pollen someday, my father intent on doing so. But during the upcoming pollen harvest, my mother was against the fact that when I was only twelve that I was to fly among the pollen collectors and fulfill my training as my father had promised. Although they argued for a few days, the day of the pollen gathering they agreed for me to go for a day and see the big world on the other side. So I did that and went to fetch the pollen. Everything seemed to be going well until...my poor eyesight caused me to stray from the others and become lost in a flower bed. I tried to find the other pollen gatherers and called their names multiple times, but it was to no avail and I had to stay the night in the flower bed. While I slept peacefully that night, I decided to explore the outside world due to the fact that I was so curious. I soon wandered about the tall buildings until I came to the tallest building of all: The Castle of Princess Celestia. I decided to take a peek inside due to the fact that the guards passed me off as a fly and I saw something interesting. I saw a number of students for Princess Celestia practicing magic. I assumed Celestia was the leader of the clan and that the students had to do something impressive for her or be cast out. I then watched as students tried and failed to try and perform magic on a plant and while some managed to make it grow, others failed and were dismissed immediately with their parents. I was then examining a student named Twilight Sparkle trying to perform her spell next and I was watching her until a breeze suddenly blew me into the air and towards the scene. And just when she cast her spell, I happened to be hit with it instead and launched underneath one of the chairs. Princess Celestia told me that everyone in the room had been surprised and that Twilight Sparkle had been told to retake the exam tomorrow. However, while I was underneath the chair, the magic began to affect me in adverse ways, causing me to grow larger and when I woke up, I was a unicorn pony. Everypony else in the room seemed to be staring at me in confusion until Princess Celestia told me to exit the room before I watched her from the window in the door casting a spell to make all of the ponies except her forget what had happened. I then waited in my new form as she dismissed the ponies from the room and came to me. She used me as an opportunity to learn about breezie culture and taught me the ways of pony culture in order to help me adjust to society in Equestria. I then was able to pass as one of her students before I returned to the magic exam the next day and witnessed Twilight Sparkle completing her test with shining colors. She then joined me as one of Celestia's students and we became great friends while I lived in her castle and a few years later, Celestia adopted me as her niece. I never told Twilight my secret for thirty years after that time and I was going to, but..." Gaia trailed off.
"What? Did I show up and throw a monkey wrench in that plan?" Said Ragammia.
"Yes...but before that the Storm King invaded and I was forced to hide, hoping that his forces wouldn't get me. They didn't, but I felt reminded of how weak I was." Said Gaia, as her antennae drooped.
"And then we showed up." Said Ragammia.
"A bit of time passed, but yes. My life really got out of control after that." Said Gaia.
"What about Trace?" Asked Ragammia.
"Trace was a great friend of mine. So great that I told her my secret. We were so close...I really liked Trace. She even stayed with me during the Storm King's invasion. And now..." Gaia began to cry, her tears barely visible to Ragammia.
"...she's gone..."
"Hey, I sent Corona a message for that. He's not coming back. And Gaia...just because you're small doesn't mean you're weak. I've taken down many enemies bigger than me! We defeated Corona the second time together!" Said Ragammia.
"Yes...we made a great team." Said Gaia.
"Ragammia...I think I want to finally go and see my parents. I've avoided them for almost forty years...I can't wait any longer. And besides, I think now is the perfect time."
"Now hold on! Your village sounds like something exciting to visit! I'd like to come, too!" Said Ragammia.
"How? Ponies can't go through the portal." Said Gaia. But Ragammia's horn suddenly began lighting up.
"Um...this might not be such a good idea!" Said Gaia.
"Don't worry! It's painless!" Said Ragammia.
"Painless for you...!" Said Gaia. But she was suddenly knocked backwards into one of her pillows by the impact of the Copy Shot.
"Oh geez! Sorry, Gaia!" Said Ragammia.
"Luckily I flew into my pillow..." Said Gaia.
"Mateo! I've acquired some DNA! Could you modify it into a form I need to use?" Said Ragammia.
"I can't do that now. I'm going to need you back at the base for an upgrade. It should kick off the new generation of Enertrons!" Exclaimed the engineer.
"Really?! You pulled through in your research?! Great! I'll be there!" Said Ragammia.
"Gaia, I have to go for the time being. I'm getting an upgrade with the others." Said Ragammia.
"Okay. I'll get my things and be ready at the location of the Breezie portal. You know where that is, right?" Said Gaia.
"Eh, I'll find out." Responded the investigator before teleporting away.
