The day before your anniversary, you are to upset and worried to do almost anything when you get home from work. Your planing to ask Patrick what is really going on tonight.
You hear the door open then close behind you. You know its Patrick even though he doesn't say anything. The comes up behind you and covers your eyes.
"Guess who?" He says.
" Patrick I hope." You say smiling.
He uncovers your eyes and joins you on the couch.
"How has your day been so far honey?" Patrick asks.
You smile and say, "Fine."
"What time is it?" You ask.
"Uh its 7:57," he says. "Oh uh.. Babe I have to go meet Pete. I'll be back in an hour or so."
"Okay." you say with a smile.
As Patrick leaves, you start to cry. You for certain he's cheating on you. You really don't want to wait but, your just going to have to talk to him about it tomorrow.
You take a shower and go to bed at 9:30. Patrick still isn't back you lay awake for a while thinking about him and whoever she is.
Chapter 7
You wake up to Patrick bringing you breakfast in bed. "Good morning!" He says. "Happy Friday!"
What? He.. He doesn't remember you anniversary? He's never forgotten before. You say thank you and barely touch your breakfast. Your too upset to eat.
You love Patrick. But if he's going to be this way, you know you have to break up with him. But before you even have a chance, he's "off to the studio" as he says.
Around 5 o'clock when Patrick is still not back from "the studio," you decide to just order pizza.
The doorbell rings. You get up and get your wallet. You open the door. A new pizza guy, usually the same guy, Daniel, delivers your pizzas almost every time. When you set the pizza down on the counter, Patrick, Pete, Andy and Joe walk into the kitchen.
"Oh, hi guys." You say blankly.
You know what you need to do.
"Patrick can I talk to you for a minute. Alone." You say looking at your friends.
"Uh. We'll be in the living room." Andy says. Pete and Joe follow him.
"Patrick I've been noticing that you gone all the time an I just want the tru- "
"Wait! He interrupts you.
"Can we eat first?" He ask with a cute smile.
"Patrick this is important!"
"But.. Food?" He says.
"Ugh fine!" You yell.
"Go in the other room honey. I'll get your pizza."
You tool your eyes. "Okay."
You go into the living room, Pete gets up and goes straight to he kitchen. You don't mind it. Your too aggravated and angry.
"Pizza!" Patrick says as him a and Pete bring in the plates.
Your so annoyed you don't even want to eat. Patrick looks at the pizza, then at you.
"Aren't you going to eat hun?" He asks.
You look at him angrily.
"No." You say sternly.
"Please?" He begs.
"Why?" You ask.
"Just please?" He says.
You pick up your pizza. As your about to bite the pizza, you see something shine.
You put the pizza back on the plate and look for what was shining.
You move your pizza. When you look, you just couldn't believe it.
When you looked back up, Joe turns off the TV, and everyone has stopped eating.
