CW: You get choked (not sexually you horndogs >:|)

You got to school 20 minutes late and least to say you wanted to die. You were tired, didn't pack a lunch, bumped into someone while walking (the sun was barely rising so it was very dark still), your parents didn't even text you to make sure you were ok, and Solis and Luna are nowhere to be found.

You groan and hang your head in frustration. Today wasn't supposed to go like this. It was supposed to be a little awkward in the morning from last night's rebuke and then you ride to school and chill out with Solis (and maybe Luna?). He even said he was bringing in cookies and that would be very nice to have since you don't have lunch.

Even though your phone is at 20% you turn on your data to try and contact Solis. He's typically on his phone and should be able to answer.

'Solis where r u? First hour is like already halfway over and you said you were bringing in cookies. U good?'

No response. You start to worry but you have to finish your art project before time is up. So, you reluctantly turn off your data and slide your phone into your pocket, then dip your brush into the water and mix a new color.

"Y/n. Y/n. Y/nnnnnnnnn."

Something within you snaps and you whip your head around to see the perpetrator calling your name. He'd been at this for 2 minutes now and it was driving you insane.

"What? What could you possibly need?" You barked out at him, not caring if anyone else heard. He did this every day and he was a dick on top of everything else. Yet you couldn't avoid him. He sits at the same table as you, sees you in the mornings, and has your socials. You were only his friend because you hadn't had anyone want to talk to you before him. It was negative attention, you know, but you just don't know how to cut him off.

"I just wanted to say hi. I like talking to you. Plus no one else will give me attention..." He voices to you.

"Okay. You got to say hi. Now please, leave me alone. I'm trying to get my work done."

"Of course, of course. Whatever you need."

Your prayers are answered when he finally stops talking. Until, well, he starts to talk again.

"You know, I ate an orange one time and I'm pretty sure it was rotten. I mean, it was soft and it tasted kind of bland, but it wasn't inedible."

You grew so tired of his antics you threw your head into your desk, not minding the stinging pain. Perhaps you could gain a concussion and be out of school long enough for him to forget about you. That would be the best thing to happen to you in a while, besides meeting Solis and Luna. Yeah, Luna is kind of off-putting, but you know you'll eventually crack his shell sooner or later.

Which reminds you: He said yesterday that Solis is good at pretending. Good at pretending? What could that have meant? Good at pretending he's a happy-go-lucky person? Good at pretending he likes you? Good at pretending he's even a twin?! No, that last part isn't true. That would be quite a surprise if it was true but you knew it was impossible.

*Rinnnng* Oh no the bell just rang and you haven't even packed up yet! You scramble to your feet and throw your laptop in your backpack and immediately sling the bag around your shoulders. You then speed walk down the halls, down the stairwell closest to you, and get to your last class of the day.

Surprisingly, Luna was already in there, sitting in his seat. You checked your phone to see if Solis saw your message and it still read as delivered. 'Strange, Solis checks his phone often. If his brother is here then why am I still on delivered?'
