Notes: OMGGG anyways I hit a major roadblock with this chapter cause I had no idea wtf I was doing with this chapter. I have the basic plot fleshed out and have certain future certain parts fully written out in my notes I'm just having trouble with getting there. I don't wanna make this story straight to the cut but it wasn't really my intention to make this purely a Sun and Moon slow burn. I want it to be focusing on Sun and Moon but also pay attention to the entire game. Anyways, pls enjoy. I actually know what I'm doing for chapter 4 so it will be out quicker. Tnx >:P

There in the window was Luna, glowing from both the setting sun and the light in the room he had stowed himself in. He looked beautiful from up there, and his voice was just as stunning. He had yet to notice you and continued to sing.

"Days pull you down just like a sinking ship, floating is getting harder. But tread the water, child, and know that meanwhile, rises the moon..."

"Days pull you up just like a daffodil, uprooted from its garden. They'll tell you what you owe, but you know, even so, rises the moon..."

His singing slowly comes to a stop as he begins to stare at you, icy eyes piercing straight through you. It was a little creepy at first but you soon grew unphased to it. He was human, after all, and he was no different from Solis or anyone else. But you knew it probably wasn't for the best to stay where you stood because your dogs were growing restless and Luna most likely didn't want to have anything to do with you right now.

"Oh-! Um, sorry! I was just walking through, wasn't stalking you or anything... hehe." You internally facepalm, 'Stalking?! What the hell, y/n?!'

He doesn't answer, though. He just continues to stare and stare until you start to feel limp from his spell. Your knees start to buckle and you begin to turn to continue your walk until you hear a loud *SLAM* come from what you could only assume was his bedroom. There's a brief pause before shuffling is heard, followed by Luna falling backward into the house and a loud thud. Out from the wreckage appeared Solis, his face forming into a look of shock and excitement.

Solis clasps his hands together, beginning to shout from the window, "Y/N! OH, I had no idea you were coming today! How are you?"

His attitude and behavior were completely opposite from how he was at school earlier today. He was peppy and was already in his pajamas; his hair was also sopping wet and looked ginger from both the sunset and the water. It intimidates you, seeming as you have depressive episodes and struggle to take a shower.

You take a deep breath, finally glad he decided to stop avoiding you, "I'm doing just fine. Taking the dogs for a walk, you know, the usual."

His hands gripped the side of his face, him gasping in shock and excitement. He attempted to beckon the dogs over to him but he soon remembered he was on the 2nd floor of a house and ran back into the room. You stood there, confused and beginning to grow worried from the ever-darkening sky. Soon he appeared from the front door on the porch and ran up to you like you hadn't seen each other in years. He jumps up into your open chest and wraps his arms around your torso.

Your dogs, sensing the sudden threat, begin to yap and bark but keep their distance from him. Solis gasps in fear of being bitten and runs backward, enough to stay out of the leash's length.

"Ah, no need to worry about them. They're more bark than they are bite. You can see them slowly backing away from you as they continue to growl," You reach into your bag to grab their treats and hand them to Solis, who is still hesitant to approach but reluctantly does so, "Crouch down and give these to them. They'll calm down a little. Also, try to rub their belly- That really makes them like someone."

Following your exact steps, Solis begins to feed the furry creatures and starts to pet them both. They melt into his touch and flop on their sides, extending their legs and arms for better petting access.
