"Ok sweety! Time to go!" Abby's nurse says as she enters the room with the officer Abby kicked the night before. "Mr. Booth will get those cuffs off of you!"
"No need. I did it myself." Abby tells the nurse as she stares out the window. She turns to face the two. "Sorry for kicking you officer." Then, looks back out the window. "Tell the Doctor I'll be out in a moment, please."
"O-oh, sure thing." The nurse leaves the room. Officer Booth stares at the young, 17-year-old girl with pity, then leaves the room as well.
As soon as the door shuts Abby jumps up out of the bed and goes to the window. God, I hope this works. After praying for her life, she opens the window and steps onto the ledge, four stories off the ground. God, I REALLY hope this works...

"Doctor, Abby said she'll be out in a moment!" The nurse informs Dr. Amy.
"Also, Dr. Amy, did you give her the keys to the handcuffs?" Officer Booth asks.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean she got out of the cuffs. I'm asking if you gave her the key or something."
"No, I didn't. She must be very smart. Thank you for bringing that to my attention. I don't want her doing anything like that where she is going." Dr. Amy pauses. "Wait, is she still in her room?"
The nurse responds. "Yes, she was staring out the window only moments ago."
"Oh my god. Please bring her out, as soon as possible."
"Is something the matter?"
"I hope not." Dr. Amy sighs.
~~~
"OMG OMG OMG. I'M DOING IT!" Abby screams while walking on the edge. She is now only two stories up and opens the window of an unoccupied room. "I needed that adrenaline boost." All of a sudden, the hospital speaker goes off.
Code Yellow, The Hospital system calls.
"I better go." Abby rushes out of the room without thinking. As she opens the door, she crashes into someone, that someone being Dr. Amy. "O-oh, hey, didn't see you there..." She says, disappointed in her own ignorance.
"Yeah, I figured." Dr. Amy mocks. "I think it's time for you to go to your new home."
After Abby says goodbye to her stepmother, Dr. Amy begins the drive to the "More suitable hospital," AKA, Bluebird's Mental Institute. The ride would be about three hours long, meaning for those three hours, Abby is stuck with Dr. Amy.
"I'm not crazy." Abby tells Amy.
"Ok."
"And I didn't kill Colen."
"Ok."
"How long will I have to stay?" Abby moans.
"In the car or at the hospital?"
"Both."
"Well..." Amy begins, "You'll be out of the car in two to three hours, and as for the hospital, only until your trial."
"What?" Abby says as she tries to make eye contact with Amy. "What trial? Why do I need a trial?"
"Because you killed someone." Amy answered bluntly.
"But-! Never mind, it's pointless to talk to you."
"Why do you say that? Talking to me will actually be better for you considering I'll be your doctor for the next few weeks or so." Amy explains, "I can help you. I can help cure you."
"There's nothing to cure! There's nothing wrong with my brain! I'm normal!" Abby yells. After that, they both stay quiet for the rest of the car ride.
~~~
"We're here." Amy tells Abby, as she wakes her up. "You might as well make yourself comfortable. You'll be here for a while."
Abby wakes up to see the great big hospital, with the giant signs in the front labeling it the Bluebird's Mental Institute.
"It looks like a mansion..." Abby mumbles under her breath while Amy opens the door for her.
"Indeed. It's so big that there are 4 guards guarding each exit." Amy says to her, implying that she can't escape.
"There're 4 stories too!" Abby says, trying to ignore the fact that Amy just implied she can't escape.
"Actually, there's 6." Amy corrects her as they carry her stuff to the entrance. Abby takes this time to study what all she can see, like the windows and the map on the door going in.
"Welcome to Bluebird's Mental! How can I help you?"
