Chocho and I are sitting in the library while scanning books for our research assignment. It's a coincidence that she is doing research too. She gets bored I guess and switches her attention to her phone and giggles from time to time. I don't know what makes her do that.
"What's going on?" I ask her and she looks at me while grinning and she returns to face her phone again.
"Nothing. Jokes on the internet are flooding on my screen," she laughs.
"You're weird. I thought you were serious about studying," I sigh and she instantly puts her phone on the table.
"Of course, I am. It's just that I cannot spend all my time studying or I might go crazy," she explains to me.
"I see," I say while narrowing my eyes at her. She notices my action and gets uncomfortable all of a sudden. She grabs her phone from the table and puts it in her pocket.
"Alright, I am serious about studying," she pouts at me and annoyingly scans through the book.
I grin at her pouting lips without her noticing me while she murmurs inaudible words.
"It's been a week since we approached the office of the President but I haven't heard of any feedback from them," I tell her and she stops from flipping the pages.
"Maybe they have thrown the complaint report away already. You know it's the son of the university President you are dealing with," she shrugs.
"But that's not fair. He is trying to ruin my life by wanting me to leave," I tell her and she looks worried.
"You don't have strong proof to start with. The hot guy must have denied it and they believe him," she says. That's true I only did the complaint verbally without supporting documents.
"I think I'm hopeless. But, the moron has not done anything to me since that day," I wonder.
"Maybe he realized that you're not the scaredy-cat type," she smiles at me.
"I hope that's true," I smile at her too.
"Hey, Sarada. It's almost lunchtime let's go to the cafeteria," she rubs her stomach. I look at the wall clock and realize she is right.
"Well, my stomach is growling too," I awkwardly laugh in front of her.
We head to the cafeteria after leaving the library. The place is quite crowded already and good thing there are still vacant seats remaining for us.
We order at the counter since the cafeteria is on the self-service procedure. We settle upon reaching our reserved seats.
"Sarada, Chocho," a girl's voice calls out to us and we turn to see who may that be.
It's Hana.
"Wait, she is with Kawaki?!" Chocho slightly frets when the jerk is walking after her. She turns to face me and I raise one brow as if to say 'what?' at her but she turns to face them once again.
"Hello, Hana," I greet and I secretly glance at the jerk who is busy looking for vacant seats.
"You're having lunch already. Me too is hungry but Kawaki and I must finish the activity first before leaving the lab," she explains though we did not ask for it.
"I see. I suggest you look for a place first before you run out of seats," I say and she nods at me.
"Kawaki, there is a vacant table over there. We can discuss the next activity after we eat," she points at the place and they walk in that direction. They are talking that only they can hear. I can't keep my eyes off them while they keep their pace towards the area.
